Fnatic booked their spot in the Valorant Champions 2025 Grand Final with a 3-1 victory over DRX in the lower bracket final, showcasing resilience and veteran composure after dropping the opening map. Despite DRX’s early dominance on Sunset, Fnatic’s adaptability shone through as they stormed back with commanding wins on Corrode, Haven, and Bind.

Map 1 - Sunset (DRX 13-8 Fnatic)

DRX opened the series with clinical precision on Fnatic’s pick of Sunset. Led by HYUNMIN (22/15/4) and free1ng (15/9/4), the Korean squad dismantled Fnatic’s attack halves with disciplined setups and confident mid-round calls. While Alfajer (19/15/3) tried to keep Fnatic competitive, DRX’s superior trading secured the 13-8 opener and an early series lead.

Map 2 - Corrode (Fnatic 13-3 DRX)

Fnatic hit back hard on their home turf, Corrode. Crashies delivered a masterclass performance (18/6/2, 290 ACS, +12) while Chronicle and Alfajer followed up with consistent fragging power. DRX struggled to adapt to Fnatic’s fast-paced executions and was overwhelmed in nearly every engagement. The 13-3 scoreline underscored Fnatic’s statement of intent, tying the series at 1-1.

Map 3 - Haven (Fnatic 13-11 DRX)

Haven brought the intensity that the fans expected, with both teams trading rounds in a tactical chess match. kaajak (20/14/5, 215 ACS) and Chronicle (16/16/8) found key multi-kills to edge Fnatic ahead in the closing rounds. DRX’s free1ng (20/17/6) kept the pressure high, but Fnatic’s composure in clutch moments secured a crucial 13-11 victory and match point.

Map 4 - Bind (Fnatic 13-4 DRX)

With momentum fully on their side, Fnatic closed the series decisively on Bind. Chronicle (17/8/3, 278 ACS) and kaajak (17/9/8) spearheaded a flawless defensive half before converting cleanly on attack. DRX’s structure collapsed under Fnatic’s relentless pace, sealing the map 13-4 and the series 3-1.

Fnatic’s victory sends them to the Valorant Champions 2025 Grand Final, where they’ll face NRG for the title. Crashies, with a consistent impact across all maps, earned the MVP title for his outstanding performance and clutch presence.

For DRX, the loss signals the end of another deep international run, but their resurgence in the 2025 season proves they remain a formidable force on the global stage heading into next year.
