PGL Masters Bucharest 2026 playoffs bracket with FURIA, Nemiga and NAVI qualified after Day 5

The PGL Masters Bucharest 2026 Group Stage reached its final edge on Day 5. Swiss Round 5 was the last chance for six teams stuck at 2-2, and by the end of October 28, 2026, three of them had punched playoff tickets while the other three were sent home. The PGL Masters Bucharest 2026 playoffs bracket is now locked in.

Until now, there was at least one more series to fall back on. On Day 5, that safety net was gone. Every match was a win-or-go-home best-of-three, and the results sorted the field into the eight teams moving on and the eight whose tournament is over.

PGL MASTERS BUCHAREST 2026: HOW THE DAY 5 MATCHES ARE SET UP

Round 5 was made up of three decisive best-of-three series, each between two teams sitting at 2W-2L:

  • The MongolZ (2-2) vs. Nemiga (2-2)

  • Team Liquid (2-2) vs. FURIA (2-2)

  • Team Spirit (2-2) vs. Natus Vincere (2-2)

The three winners took the last three playoff spots, and the three losers were eliminated.

DAY 5 RESULTS: THREE PLAYOFF SPOTS, THREE ELIMINATIONS

All three series were win-or-go-home, and each one finished in a different way: two sweeps and a three-map decider.

FURIA 2-0 TEAM LIQUID

FURIA defeated Team Liquid 2-0, securing their playoff spot at 3-2 and eliminating Liquid. All four of FURIA’s top players finished above a 1.15 rating, which showed how deep the lineup was. Liquid ended at 2-3 and took 9th-11th place, earning $15,625 plus another $15,625 as the club share. Their VRS position didn’t change, since they held 20th.

On Nuke, FURIA’s pick, FURIA led 7-5 at the half. Liquid fought back to tie the second half 6-6, but FURIA narrowly closed it out 13-11. Mareks “YEKINDAR” Gaļinskis, a former Liquid player, delivered crucial rounds with a Five-SeveN pistol to break Liquid’s momentum.

Inferno, Liquid’s pick, was far more one-sided. FURIA led 7-5 at the half, then won the second half 6-0 to take the map 13-5. Keith “NAF” Markovic fought to keep Liquid alive, but FURIA’s mid-round structure and clutch plays sealed the elimination. YEKINDAR again turned the tide in key moments, with multi-kill rounds on a budget Five-SeveN that broke Liquid’s economy and momentum.

NEMIGA 2-0 THE MONGOLZ

Nemiga eliminated The MongolZ, taking the sixth playoff spot at 3-2 and gaining 22 VRS points. After an inconsistent start to the tournament, they won their last two elimination matches to reach the next stage. The MongolZ finished at 2-3. They reached the decisive round of the Swiss Stage, but the defeat ended their last chance of qualifying.

On Cache, Nemiga’s pick, Nemiga set the pace from the opening rounds, built an early lead and won 13-5, giving The MongolZ very little room to breathe. Syph0 led the way with a standout performance.

Dust2, The MongolZ’s pick, was far closer. The MongolZ put up a much stronger fight and pushed the series to its limit, but pivotal man-advantage moments slipped away, including a costly blown 4v2 advantage in a late round. Nemiga stayed composed through overtime and won 19-15, avoiding a third map on Mirage.

Syph0 led the server with a 1.90 rating and 111.3 ADR.

NATUS VINCERE 2-1 TEAM SPIRIT

Natus Vincere beat Team Spirit 2-1 in a three-map decider, taking the final playoff spot at 3-2. Spirit were eliminated at 2-3. Cache, NAVI’s pick, was one-sided. NAVI dominated from the opening half and won 13-2, giving Spirit no room to breathe.

Spirit bounced back on Dust2, their pick, with a stronger defensive showing, closing out a tighter 13-10 map to force a decider. Anubis settled it.

NAVI dismantled Spirit’s T-side and won 13-3 to lock the series down.
