PGL Masters Bucharest 2026 Day 3 recap: FUT and BetBoom clinch 3-0 playoff spots as G2 and 9z are eliminated. Full Swiss Round 3 results and standings.

The PGL Masters Bucharest 2026 Group Stage reached its first real turning point on Day 3. Round 3 of the Swiss stage brought playoff clinches, the first eliminations and a handful of results that nobody had on their bracket. The Tier 1 Counter-Strike 2 event runs from October 24 to 31, 2026, with 16 elite teams chasing a $1,250,000 prize pool, and the Main Event is played entirely on LAN in a studio setting. This PGL Masters Bucharest 2026 Day 3 recap covers every result and the updated Swiss standings.

Until now, every team could afford a stumble. On Day 3, the margin disappeared. Two teams reached 3-0, two winless teams were sent home, and the rest of the field got sorted into pools where one result can mean everything.

PGL Masters Bucharest 2026 Day 3: How the Matches Are Split Across Streams

Round 3 was shared across two broadcasts, with four series on each. Teams were grouped by record, so the 2-0 teams met each other, the 0-2 teams met each other, and so on.

  • Stream A: The MongolZ (1-1) vs. MOUZ (1-1), Team Vitality (2-0) vs. FUT (2-0), Team Spirit (1-1) vs. FURIA (1-1), and BetBoom Team (2-0) vs. Natus Vincere (2-0)

  • Stream B: Nemiga (1-1) vs. Aurora (1-1), 9z Team (0-2) vs. TYLOO (0-2), Team Liquid (1-1) vs. Legacy (1-1), and G2 Esports (0-2) vs. DENDELE (0-2)

STREAM A RESULTS: TWO PLAYOFF SPOTS AND A FURIA HEARTBREAK

BETBOOM 2-0 NATUS VINCERE

BetBoom Team swept NAVI in the Swiss Round 3 high match, locking in a 3-0 record and a direct place in the playoffs. NAVI dropped to 2-1 and moved to the mid pool, where they need one more win to qualify.

The series was a study in second halves. On Dust2, NAVI’s pick, NAVI came out strong and led 7-5 at the break. BetBoom then took over, winning the second half 8-3 to steal the map from their opponent’s own pick, 13-10. Nuke, BetBoom’s pick, was even more dramatic. They trailed 4-8 at halftime and then went on a massive run, winning nine rounds while dropping just one to close the series 13-9.

Aleksandr “zorte” Zagodyrenko led BetBoom with a 1.25 rating and a 36-25 K-D, spearheading the comeback wins on both maps.

FUT 2-1 VITALITY

FUT pulled off a major upset over heavy favorites Team Vitality in the 2-0 pool, finishing the Swiss stage at 3-0 and securing a playoff place. Vitality fell to the 2-1 group, where they only need to win one of their next two series to qualify. Another defeat would send them to the decisive 2-2 group.

Vitality struck first on Mirage, FUT’s pick. ZywOo and the French roster took control in the closing stages for a 13-9 win. FUT answered right away on Dust2, Vitality’s pick, capitalizing on crucial second-half rounds to win 13-9 and force a decider. Anubis was a tight, back-and-forth battle, and FUT clutched up the pivotal late rounds to complete the comeback 13-10.

Álvaro “SunPayus” García led FUT with a stellar 1.33 rating. ZywOo still finished as the highest-rated player on the server, with a 1.38 rating and 63 kills, which only underlines how close the series was.

SPIRIT 2-1 FURIA

Team Spirit moved into the 2-1 pool and dropped FURIA into an elimination match. After stumbling in their opening match against BetBoom, Spirit have steadied their Swiss run and now hold two chances to lock in a playoff spot.

Spirit opened with a dominant 13-7 win on Nuke, setting a pace that FURIA struggled to match. FURIA bounced back on Ancient, their own pick. Key mid-round calling and entries from Mareks “YEKINDAR” Gaļinskis helped them build a 9-3 halftime lead, and they won 13-8 to force a decider.

Mirage decided everything. Spirit started with a 5-0 lead, but FURIA fought back, spearheaded by multi-kills from Gabriel “FalleN” Toledo, and moved ahead 11-9. Spirit then strung together a clutch four-round streak at the end, targeting the B site, to win 13-11. FURIA let a late lead slip on the deciding map and now face a high-pressure elimination match.

MOUZ 2-0 THE MONGOLZ

MOUZ moved into the 2-1 pool, one win away from the playoffs, and sent The MongolZ into the 1-2 elimination bracket, where they must win every remaining series to stay alive.

Nuke was a chaotic map. MOUZ started strong and led 8-6, but The MongolZ mounted a comeback through a run of unusual rounds: an anti-force win, a 5v3 conversion after Ádám “torzsi” Torzsás experienced a game crash, and a 3v1 clutch from Yesuntumur “nin9” Gantulga. Anarbileg “cobrazera” Uuganbayar added to the momentum with kills in eight consecutive rounds. MOUZ steadied the map when PR anchored Ramp at 9-10, winning four of the final five rounds for a 13-11 finish.

On Mirage, The MongolZ’s pick, the opening half stayed competitive and ended 8-4 for MOUZ. This time MOUZ took control of the gun rounds and avoided the mid-map slip-ups from Nuke. PR opened the map with a blistering 14-1 K-D while locking down the B site, and finished with 30 CT-side kills across the series. bLitz and company managed only four T-side rounds, and PR delivered the standout impact rounds again to seal a 13-9 win.

STREAM B RESULTS: ELIMINATIONS, A COMEBACK AND A SUBSTITUTE

Stream B was where the cut line landed, and it also hosted some of the day’s best bounce-back stories.

DENDELE 2-1 G2 ESPORTS

DENDELE eliminated G2 Esports 2-1, sending G2 home winless at 0-3 and keeping themselves alive in the 1-2 Swiss pool.

Nuke, DENDELE’s pick, was one-way traffic. DENDELE took a 7-5 lead in the first half, then shut G2 down completely after the switch, winning the second half 6-0 for a 13-5 result. Ancient, G2’s pick, went the other way. DENDELE built a commanding 12-6 lead, but G2 fought back to tie it 12-12 and won the overtime 4-2, taking the map 16-14 and forcing a third. Inferno, the decider, echoed Nuke: DENDELE led 7-5 at the half and swept the second half 6-0 for another 13-5 win.

Four of DENDELE’s five players finished with a rating above 1.10, led by a standout 1.57 from doc. The win moved them to 1-2 in the Swiss stage and lifted their VRS ranking from 43rd to 34th. G2 finished in 15th to 16th place with a 0-3 record, earning $6,250 plus a $6,250 club share. HeavyGod was the only G2 player to finish with a rating above 1.00.

TYLOO took this 0-2 elimination match and moved to 1-2, while 9z Team dropped to 0-3 and out of the tournament, losing 23 VRS points in the process. TYLOO gained 69 VRS points.

The context made the win more impressive. TYLOO’s AWPer Dongkai “Jee” Ji had been ruled out for the rest of the event with chickenpox, so head coach WeiJie “zhokiNg” Zhong stepped in to play in his place.

9z struck first on Inferno, TYLOO’s pick. TYLOO mounted a late second-half comeback to make it close, but 9z held on in the decisive rounds for a 13-11 win. Nuke, 9z’s pick, swung hard the other way. TYLOO dominated the first half to build a 9-3 lead and cruised to a 13-5 victory. Mirage, the decider, stayed level at 6-6 in the first half before TYLOO took over after the switch, winning seven of eight rounds on the defensive side to close it out 13-7.

LIQUID 2-0 LEGACY

Team Liquid bounced back from their 0-2 loss to FUT and moved to 2-1. It was a return to the form that had stunned MOUZ in their opening match, rather than the side that fell flat against FUT.

On Ancient, Legacy’s pick, Liquid won both pistol rounds and built an 8-4 halftime lead on the T side. Legacy tried to claw back, but the early lead was too large, and Liquid closed it out 13-10. Inferno started the other way. Legacy jumped to a 5-1 lead, but Liquid fought back to tie the half at 6-6, and on the CT side they won five consecutive rounds to reach match point. Ioannis “JT” Theodosiou secured an important 3K to push them close, and Mario “malbsMd” Samayoa finished the 13-8 sweep with a 3K of his own.

Samayoa topped the series scoreboard for Liquid, recovering from a rough previous day against FUT. Keith “NAF” Markovic and Georgi “Jorko” Mitev also put up strong individual numbers across both maps.

AURORA 2-0 NEMIGA

Aurora moved to 2-1, one win away from the playoffs, and gained 16 VRS points. Nemiga fell to 1-2 and lost 6 VRS points.

Mirage, Nemiga’s pick, was a tightly contested opener. The map was level at 6-6 after the first half and again at 6-6 after the second, and Nemiga forced overtime on their own choice. Aurora executed better in the extra rounds, winning the overtime 4-2 for a 16-14 result. Anubis, Aurora’s pick, was a one-sided affair. Aurora led 8-4 at the half and won the second half 5-0, shutting down Nemiga’s offense for a 13-4 finish.

Özgür “woxic” Eker was the standout, leading Aurora with a massive 50-25 K-D, 100.6 ADR and a 1.84 rating.
