PGL Masters Bucharest 2026 Day 4 Recap: Aurora, MOUZ and Vitality Join the Playoffs, DENDELE, Legacy and TYLOO Go Home

The PGL Masters Bucharest 2026 Group Stage reached its sharpest edge on Day 4. Swiss Round 4 split the field into a qualification pool and an elimination pool, and by the end of October 27, 2026, three more teams had punched playoff tickets while three others were sent home. The Tier 1 Counter-Strike 2 event runs from October 24 to 31, 2026, with 16 elite teams chasing a $1,250,000 prize pool, and the Main Event is played entirely on LAN in a studio setting. This PGL Masters Bucharest 2026 Day 4 recap covers every result and the updated Swiss standings.
Until now, a loss could be survived. On Day 4, the margin disappeared for half the field. Winners in the 2-1 pool earned playoff spots, losers in the 1-2 pool were eliminated, and the rest were left with one series to save their run.
PGL Masters Bucharest 2026 Day 4: How the Matches Are Split Across Streams
Round 4 was shared across two broadcasts, with three series on each. Stream A was the qualification stream and Stream B was the elimination stream, so every match had a clear stake. Teams were grouped by record.
Stream A (qualification): Team Liquid (2-1) vs. Aurora (2-1), Team Spirit (2-1) vs. MOUZ (2-1), and Team Vitality (2-1) vs. Natus Vincere (2-1)
Stream B (elimination): Nemiga (1-2) vs. DENDELE (1-2), The MongolZ (1-2) vs. Legacy (1-2), and FURIA (1-2) vs. TYLOO (1-2)
STREAM A RESULTS: THREE PLAYOFF SPOTS AND A TEN-ROUND COMEBACK
AURORA 2-1 TEAM LIQUID
Aurora defeated Team Liquid 2-1 in the 2-1 Swiss pool, advancing to the playoffs at 3-1. Liquid dropped to the 2-2 pool, where one more match will decide whether their run continues. The two sides traded tightly contested maps across Anubis, Inferno and Cache before Aurora edged it out. Aurora took the opener on Anubis after a pivotal 1v2 clutch and a strong second-half performance.
Turkey’s Özgür “woxic” Eker led Aurora with 54 kills and a +9 K-D differential. For Liquid, Guatemala’s Mario “malbsMd” Samayoa racked up 52 kills and a +4 K-D differential.
MOUZ 2-1 TEAM SPIRIT
MOUZ defeated Team Spirit 2-1 to secure a playoff spot at 3-1, continuing their strong run. Spirit dropped to the 2-2 pool, where they are fighting for their last chance to qualify.
Spirit completely dominated Nuke, MOUZ’s pick, cruising to a 13-2 win behind a 10-2 first half. MOUZ bounced back immediately on Dust2, Spirit’s pick, taking a 7-5 lead at the half and closing it out 13-8 to force a third map.
Mirage decided everything. It was a tight, back-and-forth battle, with the halves finishing 7-5 and 5-7 before overtime. MOUZ edged Spirit 16-14 to seal the series.
TEAM VITALITY 2-0 NATUS VINCERE
Team Vitality swept NAVI 2-0 to advance to the playoffs at 3-1. NAVI will have another chance to qualify, but they must improve their calling and individual decision-making after a disappointing performance.
Inferno, NAVI’s pick, was a dismantling. Vitality cruised to 13-2. Mathieu “ZywOo” Herbaut opened rounds with multi-kills, while William “mezii” Merriman put on a defensive clinic by securing a kill in 11 consecutive rounds.
Dust2 flipped the script. NAVI bounced back early and built a strong 9-3 lead at the half, anchored by iM, Drin “makazze” Shaqiri and Ihor “w0nderful” Zhdanov. Vitality then mounted a massive second-half comeback, winning ten rounds straight to shut NAVI out and close the map 13-9.
The series also marked jL’s first official face-off against his former organization NAVI since leaving in July, and he celebrated his first victory over them.
STREAM B RESULTS: THREE ELIMINATIONS IN THREE SWEEPS
NEMIGA 2-0 DENDELE
Nemiga eliminated DENDELE, moving to the 2-2 pool with a chance to fight for a playoff spot in their final Swiss match. DENDELE exited with a 1-3 record.
On Nuke, DENDELE’s pick, Nemiga dominated early and won 13-3, with Aleksandr “KaiR0N-” Anashkin starting the map 16-0 in K-D. On Ancient, Nemiga’s pick, DENDELE won both pistol rounds, but Nemiga still closed out the series comfortably, 13-6.
Nikita “robo” Dushin was Player of the Match with 35 kills, a 1.57 rating and 95.7 ADR.
THE MONGOLZ 2-0 LEGACY
The MongolZ eliminated Legacy in two matching scorelines. On Mirage, Legacy’s pick, The MongolZ won 13-8, with a 7-5 first half and a 6-3 second half. They established an early rhythm on the opening half and closed it out comfortably, with solid mid-control and entry fragging from players like 910 and Techno.
Inferno, The MongolZ’s pick, finished with exactly the same 13-8 score and the same 7-5 and 6-3 half splits. Legacy’s roster of arT, dumau, latto, n1ssim and try produced brief defensive pushes and individual clutches, but The MongolZ tightened their rotations and site executes to seal the sweep.
FURIA 2-0 TYLOO
FURIA eliminated TYLOO, who played the event without Dongkai “Jee” Ji and needed their coach to step in as a stand-in. That proved too steep a hurdle against a resurgent FURIA.
On Inferno, TYLOO’s pick, there was a massive firepower differential. Gabriel “FalleN” Toledo turned back the clock, topping the scoreboard and anchoring FURIA to a dominant win, while TYLOO struggled to get their offense moving and managed only seven total rounds across the series.
FURIA closed out the sweep comfortably on Mirage. Qianhao “Moseyuh” Chen provided a bright spot with a quad-kill, but TYLOO could not string together enough momentum, and Yi “JamYoung” Yang finished with a low 46.8 ADR as their win conditions evaporated.
