Week 2 of VCT Pacific concluded with the matchup between Paper Rex and BOOM Esports on July 27. The VCT Masters Toronto 2025 champion continues its strong form in the tournament, picking up a third consecutive win after defeating the Indonesian squad, which has yet to score a victory and is now out of the race for the world championship.

The series opened on Bind, where Paper Rex recovered after dropping the early rounds. A solid defensive effort gave them a 9–3 lead at halftime. Although BOOM Esports managed to pick up a few rounds after the side switch, it wasn’t enough, falling short at 13–8.

On Lotus, PRX once again dominated the first half on attack to take another 9–3 lead into the break. The Indonesian squad responded after halftime, cutting the deficit and threatening overtime at 12–10, but Jason "f0rsakeN" Susanto and Ilya "something" Petrov closed out the map for their team.

TALON dropped its undefeated record from Week 1 after falling to DetonatioN FocusMe on July 25. The recent roster changes for the Japanese squad continue to pay off, as they picked up their second win of Stage 2 with a 2–1 series victory. Meanwhile, Gen.G defeated Global Esports to stay on top of Group Alpha.

The July 26 matchday opened with T1 sweeping ZETA DIVISION 2–0, pulling even with TALON in Group Alpha. The day closed with Rex Regum Qeon taking the series over Nongshim RedForce in a 2–1 victory. After two closely contested maps, the Indonesian squad took full control on Icebox, closing out the decider with a dominant 13–3 win.

Team Secret also lost its chance to qualify for Valorant Champions Paris 2025 after falling to DRX in a dominant 2–0 series, with the Korean squad closing out both maps 13–4. The Filipino side now sits tied with Global Esports, DetonatioN FocusMe, and ZETA DIVISION at two Championship Points following Week 2 results.
