With the 2025 Game Changers season underway, Riot has unveiled key details about this year’s Game Changers Championship, including the introduction of the GC Americas Last Chance Qualifier.

Game Changers continues to push toward a future where players of all backgrounds compete together at the highest level. After an exciting 2024 season, which saw teams and players evolve across the globe, Riot is making adjustments to ensure the best talent has a fair shot at the biggest event in the circuit—the Game Changers Championship.
2025 Game Changers Championship Slot Allocation
In 2024, Riot expanded the Game Changers Championship to 10 teams, and for 2025, the tournament will maintain this format with the following slot distribution:
Americas – 4 (NA, Brazil, LATAM, and the GC Americas LCQ winner)
EMEA – 3
Pacific – 2
China – 1

The Americas LCQ will determine the region's fourth slot, ensuring a competitive pathway for second-place teams from North America, Brazil, and Latin America.
Introducing the GC Americas LCQ
To maintain competitive balance while rewarding top teams, Riot is introducing the Game Changers Americas LCQ. The second-place teams from North America, Brazil, and Latin America will compete in a LAN event in São Paulo, Brazil, for the final Americas slot at GCC 2025.
The GC Americas LCQ will be a two-day event featuring:
Day 1: A single round-robin stage, where all three teams face each other.
Day 2: A best-of-five final between the top two teams, with the winner securing a spot at GCC 2025.

Game Changers players continue to break barriers, with talents like Flor rising to the IL, GC players making their mark in the Spotlight Series, and teams such as MiBR, G2 Gozen, GIANTX, and Shopify Rebellion (Gold) competing in Challengers promotion events.
With 2025 shaping up to be another exciting year, Riot remains committed to fostering the next generation of Game Changers talent. The road to the Game Changers Championship 2025 is set!
