Bilibili Gaming (BLG) have been crowned the First Stand 2026 champions after defeating G2 Esports 3-1 in a hard-fought Grand Final in São Paulo.

The LPL representatives closed out the series in four games, overcoming an early setback to secure the title and cap off a dominant tournament run.
First Stand 2026 Grand Final Recap: BLG vs G2 Esports
Both teams entered the Grand Final with a measured approach, keeping the early stages of Game 1 tightly contested.
The game shifted when G2 attempted to catch Bin pushing a lane, which led to a losing teamfight for BLG, as their ADC was unable to join in time. While Knight struggled to find impact early, Caps remained a constant threat on Aurora.
BLG briefly regained control by catching Hans Sama and securing two shutdowns — including one for Viper — before claiming Baron. However, G2 responded by securing the fourth drake and later executed a decisive fight by targeting Knight first, sweeping through BLG to take Game 1 and an early series lead.
BLG Respond to Level the Series
BLG drafted Shen and Pantheon, while G2 answered with LeBlanc. BLG immediately set the tone by invading G2’s jungle and stealing the red buff.
From there, BLG consistently pressured the bot lane to create space for Bin’s Gwen, while jungler Xun dominated the early game, picking up multiple kills and controlling the map.
BLG’s composition enabled strong pick-offs using Pantheon, Galio, and Shen, while G2 attempted to stall for their late-game scaling.
Although G2 managed to win a key fight by taking down four BLG members, BLG quickly responded by winning the next engagement, securing Baron and Drake Soul, and leveling the series at 1-1.
BLG Take Control in Game 3
In Game 3, G2 prioritized the bot lane by first-picking Varus for Hans Sama. BLG responded with an Ashe–Seraphine duo and Jax in the top lane.
The early game followed a familiar pattern, with Xun relentlessly invading SkewMond’s jungle, limiting G2’s map control.
While G2 secured the first drake through Caps’ Anivia, both their side lanes struggled against BLG’s pressure. Mistakes from G2 allowed BLG to build a 3,000 gold lead by the 15-minute mark.
G2 briefly found a way back by catching Knight and winning a teamfight around Baron. However, Bin’s power spike proved decisive, as he repeatedly dove into G2’s backline.
BLG secured Baron and closed out the game to take a 2-1 lead in the series.
BLG Close Out First Stand 2026 Final
In the final game, BLG drafted a composition focused on pick-off potential, centered around Bin’s signature Camille.
An early mistake from SkewMond while attempting to steal the red buff allowed BLG to gain early control, with Knight securing both buffs and neutralizing Caps’ laning advantage.
Although G2 found moments of resistance — including a successful roam from Hans Sama and BrokenBlade — BLG maintained control through superior macro play.
After securing Baron and catching key members of G2, BLG pushed through to end the game and claim the championship.
First Stand 2026 Champions Crowned
With this victory, Bilibili Gaming are crowned the First Stand 2026 champions, solidifying the LPL’s dominance on the international stage.
Despite a strong showing throughout the tournament, G2 Esports fall short in the Grand Final, finishing as runners-up after an impressive playoff run.
