Everything You Need To Know About VCT China Stage 2 2025

China's Valorant Champions Tour circuit for 2025 has entered its final stage with VCT China Stage 2. Starting July 3, 2025, 12 top teams from the region will duke it out over two months to qualify for the playoffs and stand a chance to claim the last two slots at Valorant Champions 2025. From every team participating to a detailed schedule and format, here's everything you need to know.



VCT China Stage 2 2025: Teams Participating, Format, Where to Watch, and More

Twelve VCT Partner teams have been split into two groups. Here, the seeding for all the teams has been based on Stage 1 results:


Group Alpha

  • EDward Gaming

  • Bilibili Gaming

  • Titan Esports Club

  • Trace Esports

  • JD Gaming

  • TYLOO


Group Omega

  • XLG Esports

  • Dragon Ranger Gaming

  • Wolves Esports

  • Nova Esports

  • FunPlus Phoenix

  • All Gamers


Group Stage and Playoffs Format


The group stage for VCT China Stage 2 begins tomorrow, July 3, and will continue till August  3, 2025. Here's the format:


  • Two groups of six (Alpha & Omega) will face off in round-robin best-of-3 matches

  • The top four from each group advance as follows:

    • The top 1 seeds go to the Upper Bracket Semifinals

    • Teams placed 2nd and 3rd go to Upper Bracket Round 1

    • Teams placed 4th go to Lower Bracket Round 1

  • The bottom two teams in each group are eliminated


The playoffs will conclude by August 31 and will play out as follows:


  • The top 4 teams will face off in a double-elimination bracket

  • All matches will be played as best-of-threes, except for the Lower Bracket Final and Grand Final. These matches will be best-of-fives.

  • The top 2 finalists earn direct qualification to Valorant Champions  2025, with points awarded as 7– 5– 4– 3 for 1st–4th places.

  • Titan Esports Club vs. EDward Gaming on July 3, at 13:00 CET

  • BiliBili Gaming vs. Tyloo on July 4, at 13:00 CET

  • XLG Esports vs. All Gamers on July 5, at 11:00 CET

  • Wolves Esports vs. FunPlus Phoenix on July 5, at 13:00 CET

  • Dragon Rangers Gaming vs. Nova Esports on July 6, at 11:00 CET

  • Trace Esports vs. JD Gaming on July 6, at 1:00 p.m. CET


Unlike other events, VCT China Stage 2025 will not have a monetary prize pool. This time, only qualification spots and points are on offer. The event will be held at the Shanghai VCT CN Arena, and viewers can catch all the action over at the Valorant Esports CN Twitch or YouTube channel.
