Esports World Cup (EWC) 2025 is set to kick off on July 8, with Week 1 featuring some of the most popular competitive titles like VALORANT, Rennsport, Fatal Fury: COTW, Apex Legends, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, and Dota 2. Fans can witness Week 1 action live in Riyadh at renowned venues like the stc Esports Arena, SNB Esports Arena, Amazon Esports Arena, Giddiya Esports Arena, stc TV Studios, and stc Gaming Hall. The games will be live across EWC's YouTube and Twitch channels.
Esports World Cup 2025 Week 1 Schedule

VALORANT
The stc Esports Arena will kick off EWC 2025 with VALORANT, where the 16 partnered teams will compete for their share of the $1,250,000 prize pool. The Group Stage starts on Tuesday, July 8, 2023, where the teams will be divided into four groups of four and compete in a double-elimination format. Only eight teams will qualify for the Playoffs, which will take place from Friday, July 11, 2023, with the Finals on Sunday, July 13, 2023.
Rennsport
For those into racing simulators, Rennsport will continue esports action at EWC 25 at the SNB Esports Arena. The Group Stage starts on Tuesday, July 8, 2023, followed by the Playoffs on Thursday, July 10, 2023. Then, once again, the championship race will take place as the Finals conclude Rennsport's participation at EWC 25 on Friday, July 11, 2023.
FATAL FURY: COTW
Fighting game fans will be eagerly waiting to see FATAL FURY: COTW at EWC 25 at the Amazon Esports Arena. The Group Stage starts on Thursday, July 10, 2025, which will set up the battles of the great fighting game and other fighters building towards the Finals on Saturday, July 12, 2025.
Apex Legends
Apex Legends will start its journey at the EWC 25 with the ALGS 2025: Midseason Playoffs at Qiddiya Esports Arena. The 40 qualified teams will compete in the Pool Play on Thursday, July 10, followed by the Last Chance Qualifier on Saturday, July 12. The finals will take place on July 13, where the top 20 teams will compete for their share of the $2,000,000 prize pool and Championship points.
Mobile Legends: Bang Bang
The mobile esports community will be closely following EWC 25 - WILDCARD for Mobile Legends: Bang Bang at the stc Gaming Hall on Friday, July 12, during MSC. Following the WILDCARD, the same venue will be the host for the Last Chance qualifier on Sunday, July 13, with teams looking to grab the last spot at the main event.
Dota 2
Dota 2 will kick off with the Group Stage on Tuesday, July 8, from the stc TV Studios, where the teams will be divided into four groups of four. On Saturday, July 12, the bottom teams from the Group Stage will compete in the Single Elimination at the stc Gaming Hall. The top teams from the Group Stage and Single Elimination will qualify for the Playoffs, which will take place in the second week.
