This move is part of a broader internal restructuring, signaling DRX’s commitment to nurturing its young talent while reinforcing its main roster with proven players from within the organization.
Kyra (Park Jae-young) is a fresh addition to the DRX system, joining DRX Prospects as one of the organization’s newest talents. Though little is publicly known about his prior competitive history, Kyra has been recognized for his sharp mechanics and high-impact aim, making him a promising recruit for the academy squad. His arrival marks DRX’s continued investment in nurturing upcoming players, with the organization providing a structured path for Kyra to develop and potentially break into the main roster in the future.
Exy0 (Park Sang-hyeok) is one of the newest faces in DRX Prospects, joining the academy team as part of the organization’s latest roster update. Previously competing with Our Name Is, Exy0 enters the DRX system with experience in Korea’s Tier 2 scene. Known for his versatility across initiator and controller roles, he brings a disciplined and flexible play style to the lineup. With DRX continuing to prioritize internal growth, Exy0’s addition to Prospects reflects the team’s confidence in his potential to evolve into a future first-team contender.
Flicker (Kim Tae-hee) has been a long-standing fixture in DRX’s academy setup since September 2023, bringing nearly two years of development experience. His promotion to the main roster, which coincidentally fell on his 18th birthday, makes him immediately eligible for top-tier competition. Known for his diverse agent pool, especially Yoru, Sova, and Tejo, he offers strong secondary Duelist and Initiator utility, which addresses the team’s need for greater agent flexibility.
DRX’s Recent Form And The Reason For Change
While DRX remains one of the most respected names in Pacific Valorant, the team faced a turbulent run across VCT Pacific Stage 1 in 2025. Despite entering the season with high expectations, their performances fell short, marked by inconsistency and early exits that failed to meet the organization's competitive standards.
In response, DRX has made proactive changes to its lineup, promoting talent from within, as part of a broader effort to revitalize the roster and regain momentum heading into the next phase of international competition. With Flicker and Flashback stepping up to the main roster, the team is looking to reset and rebuild with a renewed identity.
