VCL South Asia 2025 Ascension Qualifiers: Top 3 Teams Compete for Ascension Pacific Slot

VALORANT Challengers 2025: South Asia has come to its penultimate stage as the top three teams fly down to Delhi for the Ascension qualifiers. After the end of Split 3, the top four teams, Velocity Gaming, S8UL Esports, DOT EXE, and Revenant XSpark, based on the regional circuit points, advanced to the Ascension qualifiers.
South Asia Ascension Qualifiers Finals To Take Place At Adree Mall, Gurugram

The Ascension qualifiers featured a double-elimination format, where the initial games were played online. During the online stage, Velocity Gaming and S8UL Esports won the upper semifinals to fight against each other in the upper finals. Velocity Gaming defeated S8UL to advance into the finals. Revenant XSpark and DOT EXE slipped into the lower bracket, where DOT EXE defeated Revenant XSpark to keep themselves alive in the race to Ascension. With the defeat, Revenant XSpark find themselves out of the qualifiers.
The remaining two games, the lower finals and the grand finals, will be played offline at Adree Mall, Gurugram. At the LAN, S8UL Esports and DOT EXE will go against each other in the lower finals, which will take place on July 12. The game will be a best-of-three matchup, and the winner will advance to the grand finals against Velocity Gaming. The grand finals will be on July 13 and will be a best-of-five matchup.
Standing on top of the South Asia circuit points and winning in Split 3, Velocity Gaming are the favourites to represent South Asia at the Ascension. Of the eight casters, seven of them predicted Velocity as the winners, with just one prediction in favour of S8UL. The games will be live on Nodwin Gaming’s YouTube and Twitch Channels.
The winner of the Ascension qualifiers will fly to Bangkok, Thailand. VCT 2025: Pacific Ascension will kick off on October 13 and will feature the best ten Pacific teams, who will compete to qualify for the VCT Pacific League 2026.
