According to sources, Team Secret is set to rebuild its VALORANT roster ahead of VCT Pacific Stage 2, parting ways with longtime member Jeremy “Jremy” Cabrera and James “2GE” Goopio. The decision marks the beginning of significant changes for the Filipino squad, which struggled to meet expectations during Stage 1.

Jremy, known for his sharp mechanics and flexible agent pool, had been a core part of Team Secret's lineup since his arrival. His contributions helped the team secure notable victories in regional competitions, establishing Secret as a formidable force in the Pacific region. Meanwhile, 2GE, who joined the roster as an experienced veteran, added depth and strategic versatility to the team’s structure. Despite flashes of individual brilliance, Team Secret failed to achieve consistent results, prompting a rethink of its competitive approach.

In addition to the departures, sources indicate that Jessie “JessieVash” Cuyco is expected to transition to either a substitute or Assistant Coach role. JessieVash, one of the most experienced figures in Southeast Asian VALORANT, has been a crucial leader for Team Secret since its inception. His potential move to a supportive role suggests the organization is looking to inject fresh talent into the active lineup while still leveraging his strategic insights.
The restructuring signals Team Secret's intent to revamp its roster ahead of Stage 2, with plans to explore both local and international talent. We will report on the new additions to Team Secret's roster as soon as they are signed.
