According to sources, FunPlus Phoenix has reached a verbal agreement to sign former BLEED and Enterprise Esports coach, Nikola “LEGIJA” Ninić, as their new Head Coach. LEGIJA is set to replace York, who had been leading the team until now.

FPX had explored more options during their search for a new head coach, with one of the leading candidates being former Disguised coach, Alexander “alexRr” Frisch. The talks between FPX and alexRr were close to being finalised, but ultimately broke down during negotiations.
LEGIJA brings with him a wealth of experience from both his playing and coaching career. A former professional CS:GO player for teams like mousesports and BIG, he transitioned into coaching in VALORANT, where he notably led BLEED to strong regional performances and helped Enterprise Esports develop rising talent. His leadership and strategic mind are expected to play a key role as FPX looks to strengthen its position in the upcoming season.
