S8UL Esports Becomes The Only Indian Esports Organisation To Join The Esports World Cup Foundation Club Partner Program
Esports World Cup 2025 will take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, in July and August. EWC has announced the 40 partnered organisations that will participate in the upcoming edition of the Esports World Cup across 25 esports titles, and S8UL Esports is one of them. With their addition, S8UL Esports has become the first and the only organisation to be selected for the EWCF Club Partner Program.
While expressing his excitement over the inclusion of S8UL Esports in the Esports World Cup 2025, Animesh ‘Thug’ Agarwal, Co-Founder and CEO of S8UL, shared:
Being selected as an EWCF Club Partner for the Esports World Cup 2025 is not just a monumental achievement for S8UL- it’s a defining moment for Indian esports on the global stage. I am personally proud of this because it speaks to the years of hard work put in by everyone here at S8UL and the support of the incredible community that we have built. It’s indeed a great opportunity- it gives our players, creators, and the entire org a chance to bring our content, talent, and passion to a worldwide audience.
In 2025, S8UL Esports expanded into Valorant and Call of Duty: Mobile, and they are also looking to get into Marvel Rivals esports. Moreover, S8UL Esports sights on Latin America, Southeast Asia, and Europe for global expansion. Previously, S8UL Esports had won back-to-back Esports Awards for Esports Content Group of the Year and special mention at the MOBIES.
Hans Jagnow, Director of Club & Player Relations from the Esports World Cup Foundation, talked about India’s gaming culture and how S8UL’s addition to the EWCF Club Partner Program is a significant moment for Indian Esports.
Over the last years, S8UL has built a globally recognised powerhouse —not just in esports, but in gaming culture across the region—and we’re excited to see them bring their energy and talent as one of the leading esports content groups to the Road to EWC25 and tell exciting stories around and beyond the 2025 Esports World Cup to the Indian esports community.
Esports World Cup 2024 featured more than 1,500 players from 200 teams, who competed for the mammoth prize pool of $60,000,000 across 23 esports titles. The tournament spanned for two months and attracted over 500 million views globally — including 10.5 million viewers from India.
