MOUZ part ways with siuhy in unexpected roster change

MOUZ have decided to bench Kamil "siuhy" Szkaradek, citing "different visions for the team’s future" in an official announcement on X. The move ends an 18-month tenure during which the Polish leader guided MOUZ to significant achievements and cemented his reputation as one of the top IGLs in the game.

After rejoining MOUZ in mid-2023 following an impressive spell with GamerLegion, siuhy led the team to victories at ESL Pro League Seasons 18 and 19 and the BetBoom Dacha Belgrade, alongside three runner-up finishes. The squad also made it to the semi-finals of the Shanghai Major to close out 2024, where they were eliminated by eventual champions Spirit.

In a surprising shift, Ludvig "Brollan" Brolin will step into the IGL role, transitioning from his rifler position. The Swedish player, who narrowly missed a spot in HLTV’s 2024 Top 20 list, faces the challenge of balancing leadership with maintaining individual performance. MOUZ now need to secure a strong rifler to compensate for this adjustment.

Due to roster lock rules, MOUZ will be unable to register a permanent replacement in time for IEM Katowice. As a result, academy player Adrian "xelex" Vincze, who joined MOUZ NXT in September, will step in as their fifth member.

With siuhy benched, MOUZ's current roster is:

  • 🇭🇺 Ádám "torzsi" Torzsás

  • 🇫🇮 Jimi "Jimpphat" Salo

  • 🇸🇪 Ludvig "Brollan" Brolin

  • 🇮🇱 Dorian "xertioN" Berman

  • 🇭🇺 Adrian "xelex" Vincze (IEM Katowice stand-in)

  • 🇩🇰 Dennis "sycrone" Nielsen (coach)

  • 🇵🇱 Kamil "siuhy" Szkaradek (benched)
