PGL Masters Bucharest 2026 Playoffs Final Day Recap
FURIA 3-2 NEMIGA (GRAND FINAL)
FURIA beat Nemiga Gaming 3-2 in a hard-fought, five-map grand final to win the PGL Masters Bucharest 2026 trophy and $450,000.
Ancient, Nemiga’s pick, opened the series, and Nemiga came out swinging. They took FURIA apart 13-2 behind a dominant 10-2 half. Mareks “YEKINDAR” Gaļinskis fought hard for FURIA, including a four-kill M4A4 push in the mid area, but Danil “molodoy” Golubenko struggled heavily on the map, finishing 2-13 in kills and deaths.
FURIA bounced back on Dust2, their own pick, and returned the favor with a 13-5 win to level the series. They then crushed Nemiga’s pick on Cache, letting them win only 2 rounds in a 13-2 result that put FURIA at tournament point, 2-1 up.
Mirage was the closest map of the series. Nemiga refused to roll over, backed by standout multi-kill rounds and a 1v3 post-plant clutch from khaN. They edged out FURIA 13-11 to force a fifth and final map.
On the Nuke decider, FURIA regained full control of the tempo. Gabriel “FalleN” Toledo turned back the clock with a stellar performance, going 17-6 in kills and deaths with a 2.11 rating on the map. FURIA closed it 13-6 and took the series 3-2.
MOUZ 2-0 TEAM VITALITY (THIRD PLACE)
MOUZ swept Team Vitality 2-0 to take third place, and Vitality finished fourth. Adrian “xelex” Vincze was named the standout player of the series. Vitality also played without Dan “apEX” Madesclaire, who was on a brief sabbatical for the birth of his child.
The series opened on Nuke, MOUZ’s pick, and MOUZ won it 13-7. They controlled the pace from the start and led 7-5 at the half. Vitality struggled to adapt, with Justinas “jL” Lekavičius having a tough map, which left William “mezii” Merriman to carry much of the workload. MOUZ then locked down the second half cleanly, winning it 6-2.
Inferno, Vitality’s pick, also went to MOUZ 13-7. Vitality could not get a foothold on their own map and fell behind early on the CT side, as Ádám “torzsi” Torzsás and Adrian “xelex” Vincze came alive. The first half ended 8-4 to MOUZ. Vitality grabbed the second-half pistol round, but MOUZ’s mid-round trades quickly overwhelmed them, and the second half finished 5-3 in MOUZ’s favor.
