Zhuo "MarT1n" Zhengjie has officially parted ways with Xi Lai Gaming (XLG) and joined Trace Esports (TE). The move comes as both teams prepare for the upcoming VCT 2025: China Stage 2, with Trace Esports aiming to bolster their roster with proven talent.

The 22-year-old flex player transitions to TE after reaching a mutual agreement with XLG, marking a new chapter in his professional VALORANT career. After an early exit from the VCT 2025: Masters Toronto, XLG is coming with major roster moves, including the departure of Midi and MarT1n, and the addition of NoMan.

MarT1n joined XLG in June 2024 and was a mainstay of their lineup until being moved to the inactive roster at the end of the year. Despite his change in status, he remained part of the XLG organisation throughout the first half of the 2025 season. Known for his sharp aim and composed decision-making under pressure, he made significant contributions to the team's growth during his time with them.
