After several weeks of intense matchups, Europe's professional League of Legends scene has moved into the playoff stage. Here is everything you need to know about the teams, format, and schedule for the LEC Spring 2026 Playoffs.
The Regular Season concluded with six teams securing their spots in the bracket. Meanwhile, Team Heretics and Fnatic endured disappointing campaigns — the latter missing the playoff stage for a second consecutive split. Alongside Shifters and SK Gaming, both teams were eliminated from contention for the 2026 Mid-Season Invitational.
LEC Spring 2026 Playoffs Format
The six qualified teams compete in a double-elimination bracket featuring best-of-five series, with all matches played under Fearless Draft rules — meaning no champion can be repeated within the same series. Two losses eliminate a team from the race for the LEC's two spots at MSI 2026. It's worth noting that the top two finishers will also qualify for the 2026 Esports World Cup, adding further weight to every series.
The top four seeds from the Regular Season begin in the upper bracket, while Natus Vincere and GIANTX — who finished fifth and sixth respectively — start in the lower bracket with elimination on the line from the first round.

Upper Bracket Results: Weekend One
The LEC Spring 2026 Playoffs got underway on May 23, delivering two high-stakes upper bracket clashes.
G2 Esports knocked out Karmine Corp in a convincing 3-1 series, booking their place in the Upper Bracket Final. In the second match of the weekend, Movistar KOI produced an even more dominant display, sweeping Team Vitality 3-0 to advance. KOI will await the winner of the Lower Bracket Final in the Grand Final, with G2 Esports set to face them in the Upper Bracket Final on the road to June 7.
