League of Legends Worlds 2025 Eliminations Begin
The October 19 matchday determined the fate of the four teams that had accumulated two losses so far in the Swiss Stage, with all facing off in best-of-three series. Fnatic went head-to-head against Movistar KOI, guaranteeing that one of the LEC representatives would be knocked out. Meanwhile, PSG Talon from the LPC clashed with Brazil’s Vivo Keyd Stars in the other elimination matchup.
Movistar KOI Eliminate Fnatic After Three-Game Thriller
Movistar KOI opened the series in dominant fashion, executing their composition cleanly to build a massive 20,000-gold lead and secure the first map. However, Fnatic struck back in Game 2, evening the score with smart picks like Viktor for Yoon "Poby" Sung-won and Poppy for Mihael "Mikyx" Mehle. Both players were instrumental in forcing a deciding game.
In the final map, Movistar KOI opted for a risky draft, locking in Vayne for David “Supa” García. The Spanish ADC made it work, positioning flawlessly and picking up early kills that accelerated his scaling. Fnatic attempted to contest neutral objectives, but Movistar KOI consistently outplayed them in teamfights, steadily building their gold advantage. With Baron Nashor secured and a lead of over 13,000 gold, the organization founded by Ibai Llanos closed out the series to stay alive in the Swiss Stage.
PSG Talon Fall to Vivo Keyd Stars in Decider

The day concluded with PSG Talon facing Vivo Keyd Stars in a high-stakes series. The Brazilian representatives came out swinging in Game 1, dominating from the early stages. Adrian "Trymbi" Trybus shined on Alistar, making crucial pickoffs and rotations that allowed his team to control neutral objectives and snowball their lead. VKS maintained their momentum throughout, closing the map in under 30 minutes.
PSG Talon responded in Game 2, punishing VKS’s overextensions around neutral objectives. Despite a strong start from the Brazilians, a few crucial mistakes gave PSG the opening they needed. The third seed from the LPC scaled into the mid game, secured Baron Nashor, and tied the series to force a decider.
The decisive Game 3 saw both teams draft aggressive, pick-oriented compositions. PSG Talon flexed Naafiri in the jungle, while Vivo Keyd Stars drafted Nocturne for Pedro "Disamis" Gonçalves and Akali for Jeong "Mireu" Jo-bin. VKS capitalized on their early advantages, with Mireu leading the charge to secure crucial kills. Through coordinated teamfighting and superior objective control, the Brazilian squad maintained their gold lead and closed out the game, eliminating PSG Talon from Worlds 2025.
