G2 controlled the early game of the opening map through superior rotations and objective control, allowing the team to build an early advantage. However, Karmine Corp, led by Caliste “Caliste” Henry-Hennebert, stayed in the game by forcing key teamfights and capitalizing on a critical mistake from G2 around Baron Nashor.

The Samurai conceded both the Baron and multiple kills, allowing the French organization to complete the comeback and take a 1-0 lead in the series.

In Game 2, Rasmus “Caps” Borregaard and Rudy “SkewMond” Semaan played a crucial role in helping G2 level the series.
