As we near the end of VALORANT Masters Toronto, the stakes are as high as they get. Each team in the lower bracket is fighting for survival. With the upper bracket finals confirmed to take place between Paper Rex and Wolves Esports, all eyes are on the lower brackets. Day 10 consisted of two incredible three-map series that kept fans on their toes. Here is what went down during matchday 10 of VALORANT Masters Toronto.
VALORANT Masters Toronto Day 10: G2 Esports Do The Impossible

On day 10 of VALORANT Masters Toronto, the best teams from EMEA, Americas, and Pacific faced off against each other. Three former VALORANT Masters champions were playing on this match day (FNATIC, Sentinels, and GEN G). The only exception was G2 esports that reached the VALORANT Masters Bangkok Grand Finals but failed to win against T1.
The first match of day 10 of VALORANT Masters Toronto was between G2 Esports and Gen G. This match was a story of dominance and a mental battle. On map 1, G2 Esports dominated Gen G. During the second map, we saw Gen G make an incredible comeback and win the map. Map 3 was a tale of two halves. Gen G demolished G2 Esports in the first 15 rounds, wrapping the half with an 11-4 scoreline. At this point, everyone believed that this was the end of G2 Esports' run in the event.
Following a tactical timeout, G2 Esports did the impossible and won 9 rounds in a row. Flipping the script 13-11 in their favour, G2 Esports eliminated Gen G. This series spoke volumes about the mentality of Gen G. Before this game, Gen G had lost to Wolves Esports 2-0. During that match, Gen G secured the lead in the first half but failed to convert it into a victory. We saw the same in the game between G2 Esports. This is something that Gen G will have to work on as we head to VCT 2025: Pacific Stage Two.
FNATIC Complete The Comeback and Eliminate Sentinels at VALORANT Masters Toronto

In the second match of the day, we got to experience another three-map classic between Sentinels and FNATIC. These two teams first faced off at the grand finals of VALORANT Masters in 2021, where Sentinels won the event. They recently faced off at VALORANT Champions 2024, where Sentinels defeated FNATIC once again. Going into this game, the only player left from the 2021 match was Boaster from FNATIC.
Map 1 started with Sentinels being mega on defence. They continued this form in the attack, winning the map 13-9. On Map 2, the script flipped with FNATIC being brilliant on the offensive. They continued their form into their defence rounds, winning the map with a score of 13-7.
The final map was played on Icebox. Sentinels started the series strong by winning three rounds in a row. They continued this form, winning the first half 7-5. In the second half, FNATIC won the first two rounds, levelling the score to 7-7. Following this, FNATIC stopped Sentinels’ momentum and stole the victory with a score of 13-7.
With this, both Gen G and Sentinels have been knocked out of the VALORANT Masters Toronto. This leaves FNATIC as the sole contender to become a two-time VALORANT Masters winner. Here are the upcoming matches of the tournament:
