Team Vitality has announced the two significant additions to its VALORANT roster with the signings of Bartosz "UNFAKE" Bernacki and Blendi "KovaQ" Kovaci. The duo is set to join the starting lineup for VCT Stage 2, pending visa and Riot Games approval.

UNFAKE Takes Up The Leadership Role After The Departure Of Sayf From Vitality

The roster shakeup comes after Sayf decided to step away from the active lineup to focus on his well-being. In search of leadership and stability, Vitality tapped UNFAKE, a veteran IGL known for his composure and experience across European circuits.

Initially, the team intended only to fill Sayf's spot, but KovaQ's standout performance during tryouts earned him a place in the starting five as well. Vitality stated that the new lineup "reached its highest potential" with both UNFAKE and KovaQ on board.

The move, however, forces promising rookie CyvOph out of the starting roster. He will be loaned to Joblife for the remainder of the Ascension season to continue his development.

With the goal of qualifying for VCT Champions 2025 in Paris, Vitality is banking on the synergy and structure that UNFAKE and KovaQ bring. The team expressed complete confidence in the new direction heading into Split 2.
