Day 3 of First Stand 2026 delivered two decisive results in the final Group A matches. Bilibili Gaming (BLG) secured a dominant victory to advance to the Play-offs, while Team Secret Whales (TSW) became the first team eliminated from the tournament.

First Stand 2026 sees BLG sweep G2 to reach Play-offs, while Team Secret Whales are eliminated after losing to BNK FearX in Group A.

First Stand 2026: BLG 3-0 G2 — Dominant Sweep to the Play-offs

After a hard-fought series against BNK FearX on Day 1, BLG entered the matchup against G2 Esports determined to secure qualification. Meanwhile, G2 came in with confidence after defeating TSW 3-0.

BLG had a slow start in Game 1, conceding early kills in the bot lane. However, G2 lost control following a failed teamfight around the third drake. Consistent solo kills from BLG’s top laner turned the momentum in their favor.

G2’s draft struggled to deliver results, with Hans Sama’s Senna failing to make an impact in teamfights. Meanwhile, BLG executed aggressive engages through Xin Zhao, Galio, and Shen.

The turning point came when BLG won a decisive teamfight with only Knight falling. Bin delivered a standout performance, securing multiple eliminations on Ambessa, allowing BLG to secure Baron and Fire Drake and close out Game 1.

In Game 2, G2 initially gained control by securing back-to-back drakes. However, their lead quickly slipped away.

Caps struggled to make an impact on Aurora, with multiple failed engages and visible mana issues. BLG capitalized on these mistakes and slowly regained control of the map.

Once BLG stabilized with their composition — particularly around Gnar — G2 had no answer. BLG methodically closed out the second game.

Game 3 saw G2 draft what appeared to be their strongest composition of the series, securing favorable matchups and mid-lane counterpick. However, the execution once again fell short.

BLG’s bot lane outperformed G2, while their carries quickly snowballed the early game. By the 15-minute mark, BLG had built an 8,000 gold lead, effectively sealing the outcome.

BLG’s superior teamfighting once again overwhelmed G2, completing a 3-0 sweep and advancing to the Play-offs.

First Stand 2026: BFX 3-0 TSW — Team Secret Whales Eliminated

For Team Secret Whales, Day 3 marked their final opportunity to remain in First Stand 2026. After losing to G2, they faced BNK FearX (BFX) in a must-win series.

In Game 1, TSW focused on the top lane, counterpicking Gwen into Renekton. The strategy initially paid off, with TSW winning an early 3-for-1 teamfight.

However, BFX quickly responded as jungler Raptor took control on Xin Zhao, dismantling TSW’s advantage. Despite strong performances from Pun, BFX regained control and closed out the game, highlighted by Diable’s pentakill on Ezreal.

Game 2 followed a similar pattern. TSW again invested resources into the top lane, while BFX maintained strong pressure across the map.

Although TSW found isolated success, they repeatedly allowed BFX’s carries to deal uncontested damage in teamfights. The gold gap steadily increased, and BFX secured the second game.

In Game 3, TSW shifted to a scaling composition featuring Aphelios. The early game looked promising, with TSW securing drakes and building a small lead.

However, a failed teamfight allowed BFX to regain control. Raptor’s Pantheon became the key difference-maker, consistently targeting TSW’s carries.

From that point onward, the game slipped away from TSW, and they were eliminated at the 29-minute mark.
