BGIS The Grind 2026 Week 1 Recap: Revenant XSpark Dominate Groups C

Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2026 is one of the largest esports tournaments in the world, featuring over 20,000 teams and a massive ₹4 crore ($436,608) prize pool. With the conclusion of Week 1 of BGIS The Grind 2026, the tournament has already delivered high-intensity action as teams from Groups C and D battled it out on LAN.

Across 24 matches per group, some of India’s most promising BGMI teams fought for survival and progression. Revenant XSpark emerged as the standout performers, finishing first in Group C and securing a strong early statement in their BGIS 2026 campaign.

BGIS The Grind 2026 Week 1 Overview

During Week 1 of BGIS The Grind 2026, a total of 32 invited teams—16 each from Group C and Group D—competed based on seeding from previous BGMI tournaments.

  • Group D teams: Seeded 49th–64th

  • Group C teams: Seeded 33rd–48th

Matches for both groups concluded on January 22, determining which teams would advance to the next stages of BGIS 2026.
