The inaugural XSE Pro League Guangzhou 2026 came to a close with a dominant performance from 9z, who defeated PARIVISION 3-0 in the XSE Pro League 2026 Grand Final to lift the trophy and take home $260,000 from the event's $1,000,000 prize pool. After overcoming Alliance in the semi-finals, the South American squad carried that momentum into the championship match, winning Mirage, Inferno, and Dust2 without allowing the series to reach a fourth map.

The victory is the most significant in 9z's history. Founded in 2018, the Argentine organisation had never previously won an international LAN title — and they did it in style, improving game by game throughout a tournament that saw them drop matches to EYEBALLERS and Alliance in the group stage before finding their best form precisely when the stakes were highest.
9z 3-0 PARIVISION — 9z Dominate the XSE Pro League 2026 Grand Final
9z produced one of their most complete performances of the tournament, sweeping PARIVISION 3-0 to become the first-ever champions of XSE Pro League Guangzhou. Led by another outstanding series from dgt and HUASOPEEK, the South American side controlled every map and never allowed PARIVISION to build the momentum they had shown throughout the playoffs — including a stunning semi-final win over FaZe.
Mirage: 9z 13-9 PARIVISION — 9z Edge the Opener to Take Early Control
The XSE Pro League 2026 Grand Final began on Mirage — PARIVISION's map pick — but it was 9z who struck first with a 13-9 victory.
The opening map remained competitive through much of the first half, yet 9z consistently found the better trades in crucial rounds. dgt and HUASOPEEK led the fragging, helping 9z convert small advantages into round wins while denying PARIVISION any opportunity to establish momentum on their own selection. By closing Mirage, 9z immediately seized control of the best-of-five and forced PARIVISION to begin chasing the series from the very first map.
Inferno: 9z 13-10 PARIVISION — 9z Move Within One Map of the Championship
On Inferno, 9z continued to dictate the pace, securing a 13-10 victory to extend their lead to 2-0.
PARIVISION showed far more resistance than they had on Mirage, keeping the score close throughout much of the map. However, every time the opposition threatened to level the game, 9z answered with disciplined late-round executions and cleaner defensive holds. HUASOPEEK continued his excellent form, while dgt remained a constant presence on the server to keep 9z firmly in control. The result left PARIVISION needing a reverse sweep to keep their title hopes alive.
Dust2: 9z 13-4 PARIVISION — 9z Finish the Sweep in Dominant Fashion
Any hopes of a comeback disappeared on Dust2, where 9z produced their most convincing map of the entire series. They overwhelmed PARIVISION 13-4, closing out the XSE Pro League 2026 Grand Final in emphatic fashion.

After building another commanding first-half advantage, 9z never allowed PARIVISION back into the contest. Their defensive setups consistently shut down site hits, while their attacks punished every mistake from the opposition. Across the full series, dgt finished with 53 kills and a 1.40 rating, while HUASOPEEK added 50 kills and a 1.36 rating — numbers that highlight just how central the duo were to 9z's championship run.
9z Crowned the First XSE Pro League Champions
With the victory, 9z become the first-ever champions of XSE Pro League Guangzhou, completing an outstanding playoff run that included victories over 3DMAX, MIBR, TYLOO, Alliance, and PARIVISION across the full event. The title is the organisation's first international LAN championship, and it caps a remarkable stretch of form that also included a quarter-final run at IEM Cologne Major — the best Major result in 9z's history. HUASOPEEK earned the tournament MVP award for his standout performance throughout the week.
For PARIVISION, the defeat ends an otherwise remarkable debut tournament with their new roster featuring veterans HObbit and slaxejezzz. The newly assembled lineup eliminated BIG and FaZe on their way to the final — the scalp over FaZe remaining the most significant upset of the entire tournament. Although they fell short of the championship, their runner-up finish — and $80,000 in prize money — offered an encouraging first showing and established them as one of the standout teams of the event.
