Hanwha Life Esports 2–0 CTBC Flying Oyster: Calm, Clean, and Cruel
Game 1 – Zeka Takes Over Mid, HLE Snowball Through Skirmishes
The early game opened evenly, with both sides trading waves and keeping lanes stable. But at the first river contest, everything unraveled for CFO. Peanut and Zeka perfectly synced their cooldowns, turning a small skirmish into a map-breaking advantage. From there, HLE never let go — sweeping vision, denying jungle access, and forcing CFO to walk blind into every setup.
With Zeus’s Rumble controlling choke points and Viper’s Yunara scaling freely, CFO’s composition had no front-to-back fight angle. Every contest around Drake or Herald ended in layered engages and overwhelming AoE damage. Once HLE secured both Soul Dragon and Baron uncontested, the game was beyond recovery.
In just 31 minutes, Hanwha Life slammed down Game 1, entering side selection with total tempo, confidence, and control of the series.
Game 2 – Hanwha Life Closes Out the Series
CFO came in with a new game plan — drafting for stronger lanes and early tempo. It worked briefly: small gold leads, better push, and lane control. But the moment the game transitioned into mid-game skirmishes, HLE’s coordination took over.
Viper’s Caitlyn turned every fight into a shooting gallery, using traps and range to zone CFO from objectives. Peanut dictated the pace with relentless engages, while Zeka punished every misstep — deleting CFO’s carries before they could react.
CFO’s final Baron contest was their last stand. HLE aced the fight, secured Nashor, and marched straight down mid. By the second Baron setup, the game was already decided. Hanwha Life sealed a clean 2–0 sweep in 34 minutes, advancing to the Playoffs with authority.
G2 Esports 2–1 FlyQuest: The Reverse Sweep That Revived Europe
For the first time since 2020, G2 Esports are heading back to the Worlds Playoffs — battling from a 0–1 deficit to eliminate FlyQuest and keep Europe’s hopes alive on the international stage.
Game 1 – FlyQuest Seize Control
FlyQuest opened confidently, snowballing through solo lanes and suffocating G2’s mid-game map play. Inspired and Quad’s Taliyah dictated tempo, stacking neutrals and denying G2 their 5v5 setups. Once FlyQuest secured Baron and split the base across two lanes, the Nexus fell in 38 minutes, putting LCS ahead 1–0.
Game 2 – G2 Strikes Back Through Bot Lane
With their backs against the wall, G2 flipped the map through bot side. Hans Sama’s Xayah and Caps’s Aurora dismantled FlyQuest’s lane control, while SkewMond’s Trundle became the catalyst for every winning fight. G2 repeatedly attacked FlyQuest’s vision line, turning skirmishes into decisive objective control. By 31 minutes, G2 tied the series 1–1 — momentum fully shifting toward Europe.
Game 3 – G2 Gets Creative, Caps Closes It Out
In true G2 fashion, the decider was won through creativity and chaos. Drafting Dr. Mundo jungle, G2 leaned into an off-meta strategy designed to absorb FlyQuest’s engage tools and brute-force front-to-back fights. The unconventional pick threw FlyQuest completely off rhythm.
With SkewMond’s Mundo soaking every cooldown, Caps’s Orianna and Hans Sama’s Varus were unleashed. G2 suffocated FlyQuest’s vision, denied every setup, and turned the map into a slow squeeze by the time Elder and Baron came up,
FlyQuest’s fate was sealed — every objective lost before the fights even began.
The final push was clean, clinical, and merciless. G2 completed the reverse sweep, punching their long-awaited ticket back to the Worlds Playoffs.
