January 25, 2025 – Upper Quarterfinals
TALON 2-1 Global Esports
TALON opened their VCT Pacific campaign with a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Global Esports. Global started strong with a 13-6 win on Split, but TALON responded on Abyss (13-9) before closing out the series on Lotus (13-8). primmie was a standout performer, dominating the decider with 23 kills and 289 ACS. Global Esports dropped to the lower bracket, while TALON moved on to face T1.
Gen.G 2-1 Rex Regum Qeon
In a nail-biting series, Gen.G took down RRQ 2-1 to advance to the upper semifinals. RRQ started strong with a 13-6 win on Fracture, but Foxy9 and Karon led Gen.G to a comeback, winning Lotus (13-8) and Haven (14-12). The win set up a Gen.G vs. DRX showdown in the upper bracket.
January 26, 2025 – Lower Bracket Round 1
Nongshim RedForce 2-1 BOOM Esports
In a rematch of the Pacific Ascension Grand Final, Nongshim once again prevailed over BOOM, eliminating them in a 2-1 series. BOOM’s 13-7 victory on Bind forced a decider, but Nongshim closed it out on Lotus (13-9). Francis and Persia were key in Nongshim's victory, with Persia shining on Pearl in a 13-3 stomp.
Paper Rex 2-0 ZETA DIVISION
Paper Rex bounced back from their loss to T1 by sweeping ZETA 2-0, eliminating the Japanese squad. PRX dominated Lotus (13-5) before closing out Fracture (13-8). f0rsakeN played a key role helping his team secure a crucial victory. Paper Rex now faces DetonatioN FocusMe in the lower bracket.
January 27, 2025 – Lower Bracket Round 1
Rex Regum Qeon 2-1 Team Secret
RRQ eliminated Team Secret in a series where momentum shifted multiple times. Secret struck first with a 13-9 win on Lotus, but RRQ responded by crushing Pearl 13-4 behind a dominant 1v4 clutch from Estrella. RRQ carried that momentum into Haven, winning 13-4 to knock out the Filipino squad. Monyet led all players with 49 kills, securing RRQ a spot in the next round.
DetonatioN FocusMe 2-0 Global Esports
DetonatioN FocusMe kept their Kickoff dreams alive, eliminating Global Esports in a 2-0 sweep. Abyss (13-8) saw DFM shut down Global’s attack, with Meiy and Jinboong stepping up big. On Split (14-12), Global put up a stronger fight, but Akame and Meiy’s heroics in overtime sealed the victory. DFM now faces Paper Rex for a chance to move further in the lower bracket.
