After the thrilling VCT 2025: Masters Bangkok, the tier-1 Valorant circuit circles back to the regional championship, VCT 2025: Stage 1 tournament. VCT Americas tier-1 Valorant will return on 21 March 2025, where the twelve franchised teams will compete in the Valorant Champions Tour 2025: Americas Stage 1 to grab their ticket for the next Masters tournament in Toronto. Unlike the Kickoff event, three teams will get to represent Americas in the Masters Toronto.
Top Three VCT Americas Stage 1 Teams To Qualify For The VCT 2025: Masters Toronto
Unlike VCT 2025: Americas Kickoff, Stage 1 will feature a Group Stage and a Playoffs Stage. The Group Stage will start on 21 March 2025, where the twelve teams will be divided into Group Alpha and Omega. Teams in each group will play amongst themselves in a round-robin format. The Group Stage will continue till 19 April 2025, and the top four teams from each group (or equivalent) will advance into the Playoffs, where they will compete in a double-elimination bracket. The teams will be seeded into the Playoffs based on their Group Stage performance. Playoffs will start on 25 April 2025, where the top eight teams will try to ensure a podium finish, which will help them secure the ticket to Masters Toronto. All the games will be a best-of-three matchup.
The Grand Finale of the VCT 2025: Americas Stage 1 will take place on 4 May 2025, featuring a best-of-five matchup between the finalists. The top three teams will join the rest of the nine teams from the Pacific, China, and EMEA. Masters Toronto will take place in June and will feature a $1,000,000 prize pool.
