Sentinels have unveiled the roster of Cubert Academy, their Academy team, ahead of the 2025 season. The lineup is a blend of seasoned professionals and rising stars, each bringing their unique strengths to the team. They are set to make their debut in LIGA ACE Challengers North America 2025: Stage 1, with their opening match against Ambrosia on Tuesday, January 28th.

Yassin “reduxx” Aboulalazm has consistently stood out in North American Tier 2 VALORANT with his mechanical prowess and versatility. Having competed with several notable teams over the past year, reduxx has built a reputation for his ability to adapt to different roles and excel under pressure.
Marc-Andre “NiSMO” Tayar is a Canadian talent known for his clutch performances and intelligent playmaking. Before joining Cubert Academy, NiSMO competed with M80, where he became a key figure in the team’s strong showings in the Challengers circuit. His game sense and ability to step up in high-pressure moments will be invaluable to the team.
Logan “skuba” Jenkins is one of the most experienced players on the roster. He is best known for his time with Oxygen Esports, where he was a core part of their Challengers campaigns in North America. Skuba’s consistent performances and ability to lead by example make him a stabilizing force within the team.
Travis “tdawgg” Regan, serving as the in-game leader (IGL), brings tactical expertise and leadership to Cubert Academy. Most recently, tdawgg competed with TSM during KNIGHTS Challengers North America 2024: Split 3, where he demonstrated his ability to guide a team through high-stakes matches. Known for his proficiency with utility-based agents like Fade, Sova, and Breach, tdawgg’s strategic mind will be pivotal for the team’s success.
“nightz” is the youngest member of the team and represents the next generation of VALORANT talent. Known for his aggressive and unpredictable playstyle, nightz is expected to bring an explosive edge to Cubert Academy. Though relatively new to the scene, his raw potential and hunger to prove himself have earned him a spot on this promising roster.
The team will be coached by Michael “dapr” Gulino, a decorated former Sentinels player who played a key role in the team’s victory at VCT Stage 2 Masters Reykjavik 2021, the first-ever international LAN event in VALORANT. Dapr’s extensive experience at the highest level of competition will be critical in developing this young roster into future stars.
Cubert Academy’s journey begins with their match against Ambrosia in the VALORANT Challengers North America circuit. With a strong mix of experience, raw talent, and leadership, the team is well-positioned to compete at a high level and establish itself as a key part of Sentinels’ legacy in VALORANT.
