S8UL Announces Their Apex Legends Roster For The Upcoming Esports World Cup 2025

S8UL’s all-Australian Apex Legends comprises of:

  • Rick ‘Sharky’ Wirth

  • Benjamin ‘Jesko’ Spaseski

  • Tom ‘Legacy’ Canty

  • Harrison ‘Rogers’ Rogers

The new lineup packs a lot of experience under their belt, including competing on the global stage at the Apex Legends Global Series (ALGS) Championship. Sharky, the star player of the team, is the winner of the Apex Legends Global Series (ALGS): 2022 Championship, where he played under the DarkZero Esports banner.  Sharky also competed in the previous edition of the Esports World Cup, making him a crucial player for the team.

Before joining S8UL, Legacy and Jesko played together under the London-based Guild Esports, where they competed in the ALGS: 2024 Championship and Esports World Cup 2024. Alongside the trio, Rogers will take over the coaching duties of the team, making him the final piece of the puzzle to the EWC roster. While expressing his vision of joining S8UL, Rogers said:

Joining S8UL is a massive step forward for us as a team. This isn’t just about one event- it’s about building something long-term with an organisation that shares our vision and ambition. S8UL’s legacy in esports speaks for itself, and we’re proud to be part of that journey. With their support, we’re ready to push boundaries and compete at the highest level throughout the year.

Animesh Agarwal, Co-founder and CEO of S8UL, expressed his excitement over the roster announcement when he said:

We’re incredibly excited to take this next step into Apex Legends with a world-class team. At S8UL, we’ve always believed in pushing boundaries and representing India on the biggest stages. Sharky, Jesko, Legacy, and coach Rogers bring a level of experience and talent that aligns perfectly with our vision for global esports dominance. Representing India on the Apex global stage is a proud moment for us, and we can’t wait to see what this roster achieves at EWC 2025 and beyond.

The Apex Legends lineup announcement was the first of many EWC-related roster releases. Following the announcement, S8UL will be announcing their EA FC 25, Chess, Call of Duty: Warzone, and Tekken 8 lineups for the Esports World Cup 2025.
