The competitive VALORANT season in the Asia-Pacific region is not over yet, and while qualified teams prepare for their run at the World Championship, the two standout squads from VCT Pacific continue to deliver consistent results throughout the year. Paper Rex(PRX) and Rex Regum Qeon(RRQ) have both secured spots inside the top five of the Global Power Rankings heading into VALORANT Champions Paris 2025.

With Stage 2 wrapped up across the major leagues and the full list of qualified teams confirmed, Riot Games has released its latest Global Power Rankings. This ranking measures the strength of Tier 1 teams based on multiple factors, including match results, competitive context (such as playoffs weighing more than the regular season), recent form, margin of victory or defeat, and opponent strength.

Paper Rex secured second place in the Global Power Rankings with 1,514 points. Despite a shaky start to the season, finishing near the bottom at the VCT Pacific Kickoff 2025 and missing out on Masters Bangkok, the team bounced back in Split 1. PRX went on to claim the Masters Toronto title and the Stage 2 championship, strengthening their overall record. They now hold a 19-8 record (.704), with a 46-22 map differential and an average opponent strength of 1,367 points.

Meanwhile, Rex Regum Qeon holds third place in the Global Power Rankings despite an inconsistent season. The Indonesian squad finished eighth at the VCT Pacific Kickoff, but bounced back to secure first place in Stage 1. At Masters Toronto, they ended in seventh place, while their runner-up finish in Stage 2 earned them a direct spot at VALORANT Champions Paris 2025. Across the season, RRQ finished the season so far with a 15-11 record(.577), with a 40-37 map differential and an average opponent strength of 1,357 points.

The Samurai have dominated throughout the VCT Americas, while also securing a top-two finish at Masters Bangkok and placing fourth at Masters Toronto. Their record stands at 27-6 (.818), with a 63-25 map differential and an average opponent strength of 1,366 points. Bilibili Gaming and NRG round out the top five with 1,467 and 1,437 points, placing fourth and fifth, respectively.

G2, Paper Rex, Rex Regum Qeon, Bilibili Gaming, and NRG will have the chance to further build on their numbers as they head into the World Championship. VALORANT Champions Paris 2025 kicks off on September 12, with 11 teams looking to dethrone the reigning champion, EDward Gaming.
