Motiv Esports Crowned Champions of Valorant Challengers 2025 SEA Split 3

The Valorant Challengers 2025 Southeast Asia: Split 3 Playoffs have concluded, and Motiv Esports has emerged as the champions after a dominant run through the upper bracket, closing out the grand final with a 3–1 victory over FULL SENSE.

Knockout Round: The Beginning of the Challengers

The knockout round delivered immediate fireworks, with FULL SENSE edging out Z11 2-1 in a nail-biting three-map series. After dropping the first map, FS rallied back to win the decider and stay alive. Meanwhile, Team NKT also fought through a tense 2–1 battle against Sharper Esport, narrowly eliminating them to advance. With these victories, both FULL SENSE and NKT secured their places in the semifinals, where the two teams, Motiv and NAOS, awaited.


Upper Semifinals: Motiv and NAOS Rising



The semifinals quickly established the frontrunners. Motiv Esports dismantled FULL SENSE with a clean 2–0 sweep, showcasing sharp discipline and effective mid-round calls. On the other side, NAOS Esports dominated Team NKT 2–0, controlling the pace from start to finish. This set up an all-Filipino upper bracket final, but Motiv proved untouchable, taking down NAOS 2–0 to secure their place in the grand final without dropping a single map.


Lower Bracket: The battle royale for a ticket to the Grand Final

Dropped into the lower bracket, FULL SENSE began their redemption arc. They outlasted Team NKT in another tight three-map battle, winning 2–1 to stay alive, before pulling off a statement 3–1 victory over NAOS Esports in the lower bracket final. With that, FULL SENSE earned a rematch against Motiv in the title decider, carrying the momentum of their deep run.


Grand Final: The Battle to Decide the Challengers Championship

The grand final opened with FULL SENSE striking first, as the Thai squad’s aggression and clutch retakes delivered them the opening map. Motiv, however, responded immediately, equalizing with composed site executions to level the series 1–1.


The momentum then swung fully in Motiv’s favor: they dominated the third map through mid-round rotations. They punished FS’s overextensions before closing out the series on map four with clinical precision. The 3–1 result crowned Motiv Esports champions of Split 3, completing their impressive playoff run.

  • 1st: Motiv Esports 10,000$ + Ascension Pacific Slot

  • 2nd: FULL SENSE  5,000$ + Ascension Pacific Slot

  • 3rd: NAOS Esports + Ascension Pacific Slot

  • 4th: Team NKT + Ascension Pacific Slot

  • 5th–6th: Z11, Sharper Esport


Motiv Esports officially took the championship title and $10,000 prize pool. The runner-up team, FULL SENSE, also received $5,000, and both teams previously had tickets to enter VCT Ascension Pacific 2025 with NAOS and Team NKT. Will travel to Bangkok from October 13 to October 26 to fight for two tickets to enter the big stage VCT Pacific 2026.


Road to VCT Ascension Pacific 2025


With Split 3 concluded, all focus now shifts to VCT Ascension Pacific 2025, set to take place from October 13 to 26 in Bangkok, Thailand. The tournament will feature 10 teams from across Asia and Oceania, including Motiv Esports, FULL SENSE, and NongShim RedForce as they battle for promotion to the VCT Pacific League 2026.
