The League of Legends LCK offseason continues to heat up as teams finalize their lineups ahead of the new season. Hanwha Life Esports has officially revealed its 2026 roster, confirming two major signings that have already become the talk of the Korean esports scene: Seo “Kanavi” Jin-hyeok and Lee “Gumayusi” Min-hyeong. With these additions, the Hanwha Life Esports 2026 roster marks a fresh competitive direction for the organization.

Hanwha Life Esports 2026 Roster: Gumayusi and Kanavi Join HLE

Following T1’s Worlds 2025 championship victory, the offseason opened with several unexpected roster moves across the LCK. One of the most shocking shifts came from Hanwha Life Esports, who fell short of expectations last season and is now rebuilding its project around two superstar players.

Gumayusi Takes Over the Bot Lane

Gumayusi joins Hanwha Life Esports after nearly seven years with T1, where he collected three World Championships, including the Worlds 2025 Finals MVP award. He replaces Park “Viper” Do-hyeon, who is reportedly expected to move to the LPL.The world-class ADC will now pair with Yoo “Delight” Hwan-joon in the bot lane, aiming to recreate the level of synergy he once shared with Ryu “Keria” Min-seok.

Kanavi Returns to the LCK

Former JD Gaming and Top Esports jungler Seo “Kanavi” Jin-hyeok has also signed with HLE, marking his return to the LCK after multiple successful seasons in the LPL. Kanavi fills the gap left by Han “Peanut” Wang-ho, who retired this year to begin mandatory military service.

Gumayusi Reunites With Zeus at HLE

Gumayusi’s arrival also reunites him with former teammate Choi “Zeus” Woo-je, who has renewed his contract with Hanwha Life Esports. The duo previously won two World Championships together with T1 and now look to replicate that success under the HLE banner.

However, Zeus has struggled to match his T1 peak since joining Hanwha Life Esports, which has raised questions about whether Gumayusi might face similar challenges. HLE’s 2026 season will provide a decisive answer.

The roster blends championship-winning talent with strong domestic experience, creating one of the most anticipated lineups heading into the LCK 2026 season.

What This Means for the LCK 2026 Season

Despite winning the inaugural First Stand event, Hanwha Life Esports struggled to convert early momentum into additional trophies, falling 3-1 to Gen.G in the LCK finals. With its revamped 2026 roster, HLE aims to finally break past runner-up status and cement itself as a championship contender.

The Hanwha Life Esports 2026 roster represents one of the most impactful offseason projects so far—and with star synergy, returning talent, and renewed ambition, expectations are sky-high for the organization’s competitive comeback.
