After weeks of thrilling matchups, the Swiss Stage of the League of Legends World Championship 2025 has officially come to an end, finalizing the list of teams advancing to the Knockout Stage.

CTBC Flying Oyster Worlds 2025: LCP’s Quarterfinal Breakthrough

Led by Chiu “Doggo” Tzu-Chuan, CTBC Flying Oyster (CFO) secured their spot in the Worlds 2025 Quarterfinals, marking the LCP’s first top-eight appearance in ten years. Meanwhile, Top Esports (TES) and T1 rounded out the remaining slots in the Knockout Stage.

The final day of the Swiss Stage took place on October 25, featuring the last best-of-three series to determine the remaining contenders. The day opened with CTBC Flying Oyster facing FlyQuest, where the LCP champions proved dominant against

the LTA North representatives.

CTBC Flying Oyster Lead LCP to Worlds 2025 Quarterfinals

FlyQuest opened the first map with an aggressive game plan, controlling early neutral objectives and securing multiple kills to put themselves on Soul point early. However, CTBC Flying Oyster turned the tide with two decisive teamfights—one around Atakhan and another at Baron Nashor—allowing them to recover the gold deficit and seize map control.

With Mountain Soul and Baron buff secured, the LPC champions closed out the first game in 45 minutes.

In the second map, CTBC Flying Oyster drafted Draven for Doggo, and the LCP star once again delivered a standout performance. Early kills helped him snowball quickly, building an unstoppable lead. Despite FlyQuest’s best efforts to claw back with a few successful pickoffs, they couldn’t slow down Doggo’s momentum.

The LCP representatives wrapped up the series in under 30 minutes, sending their region to the Worlds Quarterfinals for the first time in 10 years—a milestone not achieved since Flash Wolves and ahq Esports Club represented the now-defunct LMS in 2015.

Top Esports Reverse Sweep Bilibili Gaming

Top Esports (TES) started strong, setting a fast tempo from the first map and gaining an early lead. However, Bilibili Gaming (BLG) capitalized on TES’s mid-game mistakes to close the gold gap, relying on their superior teamfight composition. Zeng “Shad0w” Yu managed the map effectively, securing neutral objectives and setting up key picks in the enemy jungle—helping BLG take the opener.

TES, however, stayed true to their aggressive identity and minimized mistakes in the following games to complete the reverse sweep. The LPL squad executed cleanly, gaining early advantages and maintaining control in teamfights across both maps.

With a 2-1 victory, Top Esports locked in their spot in the Quarterfinals, eliminating last year’s Worlds runner-up, who failed to advance beyond the Swiss Stage.

Faker and T1 Clinch Final Quarterfinal Spot

The day concluded with Movistar KOI facing T1 for the final Knockout Stage berth. Although the Spanish squad started strong in the opener—securing early kills and map pressure—T1 punished a few critical mistakes with a decisive ace, flipping the momentum entirely. From there, the match snowballed beyond recovery as T1 built a 10,000-gold lead to close out Game 1.

For Game 2, Movistar KOI opted for a scaling composition featuring Cassiopeia for Joseph “Jojopyun” Pyun and Vayne for David “Supa” Martínez. The LEC team managed to stay competitive with several well-timed pickoffs but never truly threatened T1’s control.

Guided once again by Lee “Faker” Sang-hyeok, T1 closed the series 2-0, securing their place in the Worlds 2025 Quarterfinals.
