XLG Esports has announced the suspension of its player Yip “YOU” Man-ho, effective May 18, 2025. YOU previously was part of Totoro Gaming and Trace Esports before joining XLG Esports. He qualified for VCT Masters Toronto and the Esports World Cup, however, his recent suspension puts his participation in those events in doubt.

In its official statement, XLG emphasized its commitment to fostering a positive and healthy esports environment. As part of the disciplinary action, YOU's participation in all competitive matches has been halted, and his salary and duties within the team are suspended pending the outcome of the investigation. In response to last night’s controversy regarding inappropriate remarks made by one of our players, the club takes the situation very seriously and has launched an internal investigation. The player involved is cooperating fully with the verification process.

After urgent internal discussions, starting from May 18, 2025, the club has decided to suspend player YOU from all competitions and suspend his salary while the investigation is ongoing.

We thank everyone for their attention and supervision of the club and our players. We will take this incident as a warning, further strengthen our management, and continue to build a healthy, positive, and professional esports environment. At the same time, we reserve all legal rights to protect the reputation of the club and our players against false information"
