Xipto GC Crowned Champions at VCT 2025: Game Changers Pacific

After a week of intense matches and standout performances, Xipto GC have emerged as the champions of VCT 2025: Game Changers Pacific, defeating Ninetails 3-1 in the Grand Final to secure the regional crown and qualify for the Game Changers Championship 2025.

Xipto GC Leave No Room for Doubt
Held from October 6–12 at the Imperial Samrong Convention Hall in Thailand, the Game Changers Pacific event brought together eight of the region’s best rosters from Southeast Asia, Korea, Japan, Oceania, and South Asia. Teams battled through a double-elimination bracket for a share of the $20,000 prize pool and two qualification slots for the Game Changers Championship in Seoul, Korea.
From start to finish, Xipto GC were a class above the rest.
They opened their campaign with a 2-0 victory over Rising Esports GC.
Followed it up with another 2-0 sweep against Falcons Vega in the Upper Semifinal.
In the Upper Final, they shut down Ninetails 2-0 to book their spot in the Grand Final.
Grand Final: Xipto GC vs Ninetails
The Grand Final between Xipto GC and Ninetails lived up to the hype, with both teams showcasing their full potential in a tense best-of-five showdown.
Bind — Xipto Set the Tempo (13-9)
Xipto came out swinging on Bind, with Kon and capriciouS spearheading the aggression. Their lightning-fast entries and flawless coordination denied Ninetails any chance to build momentum. Despite DaNa’s best efforts, Xipto’s superior map control earned them the early lead.
Abyss — Ninetails Strike Back (13-9)
Ninetails roared back to life on Abyss. DaNa delivered a stunning 31-kill performance, clutching multiple key rounds. Alongside FullMoon, their layered defenses stifled Xipto’s pace, tying the series 1-1 and hinting at a potential reverse sweep.
Haven — Xipto Adapt and Dominate (13-6)
Xipto shifted gears, showcasing strategic depth. grahams led the charge with impeccable timing and smart repositioning, finishing 22/11/5. Every lurk and utility usage dismantled Ninetails’ setups, putting Xipto one map away from the title.
Corrode — Xipto Seal the Deal (13-7)
Riding their momentum, Xipto closed out the series confidently. Kon and capriciouS led a razor-sharp offensive, outmaneuvering Ninetails at every turn. With that, Xipto GC closed the series 3-1, becoming the VCT 2025: Game Changers Pacific Champions.
Ninetails’ Resilient Lower Bracket Run
Despite their Upper Bracket loss to Xipto, Ninetails displayed remarkable resilience on their road to the Grand Final. They battled past Falcons Vega and closed the Lower Bracket Final 3-2 to secure the second Pacific slot for the Game Changers Championship 2025 — which fittingly takes place on home soil in Korea.
