After a thrilling five-map lower final at the Pacific Kickoff, the groups for VCT Pacific 2025 Stage 1 league play have been unveiled. Teams were placed into five seeding pools based on their Kickoff performance and divided into two groups of six.

The group stage will follow a round-robin format, with teams playing matches within their respective groups. The top four teams from each group will qualify for the Stage 1 Playoffs, where they will compete for one of three slots at Masters Toronto. Groups will be re-drawn before the start of Stage 2.
With the league expanding to 12 teams in 2025, both groups now feature an equal number of six teams. This marks a departure from 2024, where uneven groups of six and five teams were necessitated by the 11-team format. Nongshim RedForce and BOOM Esports, who earned their spots in VCT Pacific after winning the 2024 Pacific Ascension tournament, now face the challenge of proving themselves against established teams as they aim for Champions 2025 qualification.
The journey to Toronto begins with VCT Pacific Stage 1, and with stacked groups and high stakes, fans can expect an electrifying season ahead!
