Riot Games has officially announced that Valorant will be launching a dedicated Manila game server on August 19, 2025, coinciding with the release of Patch 11.04. This long-awaited addition aims to enhance the gaming experience for the rapidly growing Filipino Valorant community.
For years, players in the Philippines have connected primarily through the Hong Kong server, which, while functional, often meant dealing with higher latency and occasional network instability. The new Manila server promises to deliver lower ping, improved connection stability, and smoother gameplay, giving local players a more competitive edge.

Despite this change, Riot assures the community that the Hong Kong server will remain fully operational. Players will still have the option to queue there, and matchmaking quality is expected to remain strong even if many migrate to Manila.
From a competitive standpoint, the new server will not affect Premier tournament access. Teams playing through Manila will still compete in the Asia zone, under the Challengers Southeast Asia circuit, ensuring that competitive opportunities remain consistent across the region.
The Manila server launch marks a significant step in Riot’s ongoing effort to support and grow Valorant’s presence in Southeast Asia. By investing in better infrastructure, Riot continues to show its commitment to delivering a world-class competitive FPS experience for all players.
Those worried that the Manila server will mess with their competitive grind can rest easy. Premier access and eligibility remain exactly the same. Top-performing Premier teams playing on the Manila server will still be placed in the Asia zone, competing under the Challengers Southeast Asia league. The Manila game server will officially go live on August 19, 2025.
