The PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS grand final at the Esports World Cup 2025 took place on August 16 and kept fans on the edge of their seats, with as many as 12 teams still in contention for the title. Twisted Minds pulled ahead in match 11, but it wasn't until the final game that Dmytrii "Perfect1ks" Dubenyuk held on long enough to secure the championship for his squad.

Gen.G Esports finished in second place, with Team Falcons and The Expendables taking third and fourth, respectively. As for prize money, the distribution was $661,000 for Twisted Minds, $302,000 for the runner-up, and $208,000 and $141,000 for third and fourth place.

With their title, Twisted Minds added 1,000 Club Championship points to reach a total of 3,200, narrowing the gap to just 1,200 behind the leader. Team Falcons, meanwhile, earned 500 crucial points for their third-place finish, reclaiming the top spot with a lead over Team Liquid. The Saudi squad also drew level with Virtus.pro in the overall standings.

"I'm feeling great, I feel like I'm just thankful for my team, thankful to my family, thankful to my girlfriend, and to the whole Twisted Minds family. To the fans that are here, it was the most amazing tournament, because this crowd was cheering us on the whole event. And now we are finally World Champions," said Aleksandr "BatulinS" Batulin.
