Team Liquid has officially parted ways with Latvian player Maikls “Serial” Ždanovs and announced the signing of Russian flex player Nikita “Trexx” Cherednichenko as his replacement. Team Liquid will debut this revamped lineup in the upcoming VCT EMEA Stage 2, with hopes of a deeper international run and a final push toward Champions Paris 2025.
"We're thankful for the time and effort he dedicated to the team." Team Liquid on Replacing Serial With Trexx on Valorant Roster

SerialKiller joined Team Liquid in March 2025 from HGE Esports. Despite spending just under four months with the team, his contributions were significant. During his stint, he helped Liquid secure a Top 3 finish at VCT EMEA Stage 1, earning them a spot at Masters Toronto, their second international appearance of the season.
Primarily playing initiator and sentinel roles, Serial maintained consistent form throughout his time with the roster, providing solid utility value and stability. However, Liquid fell short of making deep runs internationally, prompting questions about potential roster adjustments heading into Stage 2.
Shortly after Serial’s departure, Team Liquid confirmed the signing of Russian flex player Nikita “Trexx” Cherednichenko as his replacement. Trexx, who previously played for KOI and more recently appeared under Team Vitality, brings a wealth of LAN experience and versatile firepower to the Liquid lineup.
The addition of Trexx is aimed at injecting new energy into the team as they prepare for VCT EMEA Stage 2, a critical stretch for Liquid as they look to secure qualification for Champions 2025. His arrival also reunites him with familiar names in the EMEA scene, setting the stage for a refreshed Liquid roster to challenge the region’s elite.
Team Liquid VALORANT Roster (as of July 2025):
Ayaz "nAts" Akhmetshin
Georgio "keiko" Sanassy
Kamil "kamo" Frąckowiak
Patryk "paTiTek" Fabrowski
Nikita “Trexx” Cherednichenko
Ivo "LohaN" Albino (Head Coach)
Daniel "yaotziN" Roczniak (Assistant Coach)
As of now, Serial has not announced his next destination. His proven track record and performance in the EMEA region make him an attractive candidate for other Tier 1 or high-level Tier 2 teams.
