Battlegrounds Mobile India Pro Series is the second official tournament of 2025 by Krafton India. This year, the grand finals will take place over a 3-day LAN in Delhi, India. The top 16 teams from India will face off against each other to stand a chance to represent India in the upcoming Esports World Cup and win INR 1.25 Cr.

Day 2 of BMPS concluded with NoNx Esports securing the top spot in the table. They ended the day with 103 points and two chicken dinners to their name. Following the matches of day 2, we had the opportunity to speak with the players Reaper and Dragon from NoNx Esports.

Following day 2 of BMPS 2025, your team is on top of the table. Could you tell me about the team's morale before today's game?

Lovish: Our goal for day 1 was to get around 40 to 45 points to make sure that day 2 goes well. By securing 40 points, we would have a form of consistency that we could bring into the second day of the event. Sadly, we didn't achieve that and instead ended the day with 32 points. A significant factor for this was the last two matches that we played. In the first matches, the zone didn't favour us, and we choked in certain moments.

Thus, our goal after the second day was to obtain around 50 to 60 points. This was our mindset from the start of the day. In the first three matches today, well, we choked again. Thus, we decided that for the next three games, we would adopt a more aggressive style of play. That did work in our favour, and we got back-to-back Chicken Dinners.

Discussing the switch in playstyle, is there a killswitch protocol within your team to put yourself on the front foot and take all duels?

Levi: The thing is, for us, when we see someone, we want to finish them. We aim to secure as many finishes as possible and increase the number of duels. A significant reason for going aggressive was to finish in the top half of the table.

For me, the highlight was that during the online stage of the event, I received a significant number of finishes. This resulted in some people doubting me and stating that I wouldn't be able to replicate this on LAN. Following yesterday's matches, I set a goal today to achieve as many finishes as possible.

One thing we noticed about your team was that, following each win, you looked out into the crowd and waved to your family and friends. How does it make you feel to see them watching you on stage at BMPS 2025?

Levi: Honestly, it feels fantastic, and you feel proud. We're pleased because we can see that our family is also happy watching us play. I have two friends who have travelled around 1,400 km from Mumbai to watch me play in Delhi. The support of friends like them is the reason I feel even more motivated to push forward to my best.

Lovish: My family has been incredibly supportive since day one. Right now, playing and seeing them smile and knowing they're watching me play, makes me happy too. They couldn't come to watch me play during BGIS 2025 in Kolkata, but this time they are here.

Due to the 30 bombers in the last game, the expectation to replicate this result has increased the pressure on your team tenfold.

Lovish: To be honest, anything can happen on the third day of the event. Thinking about that right now won't do us any good at all. Our mindset will be entirely focused on consistency from the first game. We will need to channel the same energy that we as a team have shown during the online stages of the event.

The second day of BMPS was all about comebacks for many teams. For the teams at the top, the goal was to stay consistent and remain in the top 8. Genesis Esports won the first match of the day. In an incredible game, they took the win with 11 finishes to their name. Sadly, following this game, we didn't see that much of a performance by that team.

2OP Official won the second game, but just like Genesis Esports, they failed to perform in the later games. Game 3 was won in quite an engaging manner by TMG Esports. They secured the win with just seven finishes to their name. The team in second was none other than NoNx Esports, who ended the game with nine finishes.

Game 4 was a game dominated by K9 Esports. During this game, the zone favoured the team so much that they were in the centre until the final zone. They secured the Chicken Dinner with nine finishes. NoNx Esports won games 5 and 6. While both wins were crucial, the style in which they played in the final game of the day was incredible. They ended the game with 20 finishes and the Chicken Dinner. Due to this 30-point game, they ended Day 2 on top of the table with 103 points. Below is the ranking of teams following the matches of day 2:

  1. NoNx Esports: 103 points

  2. 4Merical Esports: 99 points

  3. TMG Esports: 87 points

  4. Los Hermanos Esports: 82 points

  5. Gods Omen: 82 points

  6. K9 Esports: 75 points

  7. Team Eggy: 73 points

  8. 4TR Official: 68 points
