The LCK Cup 2026 has crowned its champion. Gen.G defeated BNK FearX in dominant fashion, completing a 3–0 sweep in the grand final to secure Korea’s No. 1 seed for First Stand 2026.

After weeks of high-level competition among South Korea’s top League of Legends teams, Gen.G reaffirmed its position at the top of the region with a commanding performance on the biggest stage of the split.
BNK FearX entered the final with momentum, having eliminated T1 and DPlus KIA in earlier rounds. However, they were unable to overcome Gen.G, who had already bested them earlier in the LCK Cup 2026 playoffs.
Gen.G Dominate the LCK Cup 2026 Grand Final
Gen.G asserted control from the opening minutes of Game 1. A decisive fight around the first dragon granted early advantages to Jeong “Chovy” Ji-hoon and Park “Ruler” Jae-hyuk. Clean rotations and coordinated teamfights steadily widened the gold gap, and Gen.G closed the opener in just 28 minutes.
Game 2
BNK FearX showed early initiative as Jeon “Raptor” Eo-jin generated pressure using Nocturne’s Paranoia. However, Gen.G maintained objective control and regained full command through coordinated top-side play from Kim “Kiin” Gi-in and Kim “Canyon” Geon-bu. BNK FearX struggled to contest setups around major objectives and eventually fell behind by over 12,000 gold before dropping the second map.
Game 3
Facing elimination, BNK FearX drafted an aggressive composition featuring Lucian and Nami in the bottom lane, aiming to snowball early advantages. Canyon’s proactive pathing once again disrupted side lanes and denied the Foxes meaningful tempo.
As the game progressed, BNK FearX’s composition failed to scale into a viable threat. With Dragon Soul secured and full control around Baron Nashor, Ruler delivered the finishing blow with a Pentakill to seal the LCK Cup 2026 championship.
Gen.G and BNK FearX Qualify for First Stand 2026
With the victory, Gen.G claim the LCK Cup 2026 title and secure Korea’s top seed at First Stand 2026.
Despite the defeat, BNK FearX will also represent the LCK internationally. Korea earned a second slot at First Stand after Hanwha Life Esports captured the inaugural title in 2025, ensuring two LCK representatives at this year’s event.
Gen.G now enter First Stand 2026 as one of the tournament favorites, while BNK FearX prepare for their first international appearance following a breakthrough domestic run.
