The tournament will feature a total of eight Indian teams, selected from two major national BGMI events:

  • Top 4 teams from the BGIS (Battlegrounds Mobile India Series)

  • Top 4 teams from the ongoing BMPS (Battlegrounds Mobile Pro Series)

Based on the latest standings, the top 4 teams from BGIS are expected to participate (winnings):

  1. Team Versatile (now Team 8Bit) – ₹6,960,000 ($81,513.29)

  2. GodLike Esports – ₹3,720,000 ($43,567.45)

  3. Orangutan – ₹2,600,000 ($30,450.37)

  4. Reckoning Esports – ₹1,980,000 ($23,189.13)

These teams secured their positions following a high-stakes finish at BGIS, asserting their dominance in the national BGMI landscape.

BMPS LAN Scheduled for July 4–6

Before the invitational, fans will have their eyes on the BMPS 2025 LAN Finals, officially set for July 4–6. The top four teams from that event will round out India’s lineup for the international face-off.

While the names of the Japanese teams are yet to be revealed, this event is set to be a landmark international LAN, further strengthening the competitive ties between India and Japan in the mobile esports ecosystem.
