According to sources, Global Esports has restructured its coaching staff, reaching a verbal agreement to sign Matthew “mCe” Elmore as an Assistant Coach and promoting Donnie "Elevated" Chell to Head Coach. This strategic shift comes as part of Global Esports' ongoing roster and leadership overhaul ahead of VCT Pacific Stage 2.

mCe is best known for his successful coaching stints with Cloud9 and The Guard. During his time with The Guard, mCe was instrumental in their dominant 2022 VCT NA run, which saw them secure a spot at Masters Reykjavík. His tactical knowledge and experience with top North American rosters are expected to strengthen Global Esports' strategic depth.
Elevated, who previously served as Assistant Coach, has now stepped into the role of Head Coach. Elevated has been a familiar figure within Global Esports, understanding the team’s dynamics and core strategies. His promotion signals the organization's trust in his vision to drive the team forward.
The coaching changes are the latest in Global Esports' extensive restructuring. Recently, the team signed Joseph “ban” Seungmin Oh and Chae “yoman” Young-moon to bolster its lineup. Meanwhile, Global Esports parted ways with Mark "patrickWHO" Musni and Filipino IGL Kelly "kellyS" Sedillo as part of their ongoing rebuild.
With mCe's strategic expertise, Elevated's promotion, and fresh additions to the roster, Global Esports is positioning itself for a stronger showing in VCT Pacific Stage 2. Global Esports Reached Verbal Agreement to sign mCe as Assistant Coach
