FNATIC has announced that Chris “Elmapuddy” Tebbit has been moved to the inactive roster, marking the end of his tenure as Head Coach. The decision comes after the team's disappointing VCT Kickoff performance, with Team Director Colin “CoJo” Johnson providing further insights in a video statement on X (formerly Twitter) shared by the organization.

"We had a bit of a review process at the end of Kickoff," CoJo explained. "Some things came up that players had raised at the end of last season, and those issues lingered into this year. That has led us to, unfortunately, make the decision to part ways with Elmapuddy."
Elmapuddy played a key role in FNATIC's success over the past year, including helping the team secure two major trophies. CoJo expressed gratitude for his contributions, saying, "We have to thank him for his role in those titles, and we wish him the best in whatever comes next."
Despite this change, FNATIC remains optimistic about its future heading into Split 1. CoJo highlighted the standout performances of some players, including Kajetan “kaajak” Haremski, who has solidified himself as a top-tier duelist, and Austin “Crashies” Roberts, who has been a crucial presence both in and out of the game.
"We still have a ton of belief in the roster," CoJo added. "There’s a really solid group here that can achieve a lot. The goals remain the same despite recent performances."
To address lingering concerns, FNATIC is actively searching for a new Head Coach and a Performance Coach. CoJo reassured fans that the organization is committed to taking positive steps and returning to form. "We don’t want missing international events to become a habit, and we’re focused on ensuring Fnatic is back where it belongs."
CoJo concluded by thanking fans for their continued support during a challenging time. "It hasn’t been the Fnatic you expect or deserve, but we’ve seen a lot of support for the players and the staff. Hopefully, you’ll see us bounce back soon."
FNATIC's search for a new coaching staff signals a renewed commitment to staying competitive on the international stage as they aim to reclaim their dominant position in the VALORANT scene.
