FaZe Clan has announced that Jonathan "EliGE" Jablonowski has been demoted from the active CS2 roster. In place of the American rifler, Jakub "jcobbb" Pietruszewski will be stepping up to the playing five at FaZe Clan for CS2.

jcobbb, a 21-year-old Polish rifler, now has the chance to prove himself on one of the most prestigious esports organizations. FaZe confirmed the roster adjustment on August 22 through their official channels.

EliGE, one of North America’s most decorated riflers, joined FaZe Clan in early 2025 with hopes of strengthening their firepower and experience. Known for his consistency, sharp rifling, and years of top-tier play with Team Liquid, Complexity, EliGE was seen as a stabilizing presence in FaZe’s international lineup.

During his tenure, he contributed valuable mid-round calling and reliable fragging, helping FaZe remain competitive across multiple tournaments. However, despite his pedigree, the team struggled to find the level of dominance expected, leading to a reshuffle as they aim to refresh their approach heading into the final stretch of the season.

Taking EliGE’s place will be jcobbb, a 21-year-old Polish rifler who now has the chance to prove himself on one of the most prestigious stages in Counter-Strike. FaZe confirmed the roster adjustment on August 22 through their official channels.

Across 68 maps in the past three months, he averaged a 1.16 rating, with standout firepower and strong opening kill impact. His aggressive style, consistent rifling, and sharp aim make him a potential high-ceiling addition to the FaZe roster.
