Fancy United Esports have been crowned APAC Predator League 2026 VALORANT champions, defeating BOOM Esports 2–0 in a dominant Grand Final to lift the trophy in New Delhi, India.

The three-day LAN event, held from January 8–10 at Bharat Mandapam, brought together 16 teams from across the Asia-Pacific region, featuring representatives from Southeast Asia, East Asia, and South Asia. As one of the region’s premier off-season tournaments, the APAC Predator League once again delivered elite competition and high-stakes VALORANT.

Fancy United Esports’ Road to the APAC Predator League 2026 Title

Fancy United’s championship run was defined by consistency, discipline, and composure from the opening match to the final round.

Group Stage Dominance

Placed in Group A, Fancy United immediately established themselves as a tournament favorite. The Vietnamese squad finished the group 3–0, topping the standings ahead of IGZIST, E-KING, and S8UL Esports.

Their clean sweep was driven by:

  • Disciplined setups

  • Efficient round conversions

  • Strong mid-round decision-making

Across the rest of the groups:

  • BOOM Esports mirrored a perfect 3–0 run in Group B

  • Xipto Esports edged Group C in a tight battle with Todak and Rex Regum Qeon

  • IAM dominated Group D with a flawless 3–0, emerging as a dark-horse contender

Following the group stage, the top teams advanced into a single-elimination playoff bracket, setting the stage for a decisive final day.

Semifinals: Clean Execution Under Pressure

In the semifinals, Fancy United carried their momentum forward against IAM, the top seed from Group D. From the opening rounds, Fancy United dictated the pace, consistently denying IAM space to execute their set plays.

Through superior map control and clutch conversions, Fancy United secured a convincing 2–0 victory, reaching the Grand Final without dropping a single map.

On the opposite side of the bracket, BOOM Esports continued their dominant run, dispatching Xipto Esports 2–0 through sharp utility usage and disciplined trading, setting up a high-profile Grand Final clash between two of Southeast Asia’s most consistent organizations.

Grand Final: Fancy United Esports vs BOOM Esports (2–0)

The Grand Final left little room for doubt. Fancy United controlled the series from start to finish, neutralizing BOOM’s aggression and dictating the tempo in critical moments.

Map 1 – Bind (13–9 Fancy United)

Fancy United opened the series with a commanding performance on Bind. Their structured attacking rounds repeatedly forced BOOM into difficult retake scenarios, while disciplined defensive rotations shut down execute attempts.

Even when BOOM found early picks, Fancy United’s composure in mid-round adjustments allowed them to consistently regain control and close the map 13–9.

Map 2 – Pearl (13–11 Fancy United)

Pearl proved far more competitive, with BOOM increasing the tempo and finding success through sharper duels. However, when pressure peaked, Fancy United once again delivered in decisive moments.

Key clutches, well-timed utility usage, and disciplined defensive retakes allowed Fancy United to edge out the closing rounds, securing the map 13–11 and completing a 2–0 Grand Final sweep.
