As the professional League of Legends scene prepares for the start of First Stand 2026, Brazil’s competitive community is facing a major controversy involving one of the region’s most prominent organizations.

paiN Gaming CEO resigns amid the TitaN controversy involving allegations of sexual harassment and illegal exchange of intimate content with a minor.

Thomas Hamence, CEO of paiN Gaming, has announced his resignation amid the ongoing TitaN controversy surrounding Alexandre “TitaN” Lima dos Santos, who faces allegations of the illegal exchange of intimate content with a minor and sexual harassment.

Former paiN Gaming CEO Implicated in TitaN Controversy

A report by esports outlet Sheep Esports revealed that members of paiN Gaming’s leadership, including Thomas Hamence and marketing head Sharis Endres, allegedly attempted to conceal the case involving TitaN during an internal meeting.

Following the publication of the report, paiN Gaming released an official statement confirming the CEO’s resignation on March 12.

According to the report, members of the organization’s leadership allegedly attempted to influence organized fan groups, denied having full knowledge of the accusations against the player, and claimed that the former Brazilian AD carry had been “provoked” by a 16-year-old girl during a meeting with supporters.

The report also states that one board member allegedly asked attendees at what age they had lost their virginity in an attempt to justify the player’s behavior.

Fan Groups Cut Ties With paiN Gaming

Additional reporting by Mais Esports revealed that TitaN reportedly returned to practice with the team after the allegations surfaced on social media.

The decision triggered strong backlash from fans, leading several supporter groups to sever their ties with the organization. These groups included:

  • Heirs of Tradition

  • Crias da P

  • Os Tradicionais

  • paiN Fanfes

In a statement announcing Hamence’s resignation, the organization acknowledged mistakes in its handling of the situation.

“The recent decisions at paiN Gaming treated the organization only as a business, and that is where we made our mistake,” the statement reads.
“Let this stain on our history serve as a reminder for future generations: the paiN crowd will always be our greatest achievement, and we must honor it.”

Lawsuit Filed Against TitaN

At the beginning of January, streamer Gabriela “Gabzuski” Zambrozuski, the former girlfriend of TitaN, revealed that she was filing a lawsuit alongside four other women against the player.

The accusations include the alleged illegal exchange of intimate content and sexual harassment.

According to the claims, TitaN allegedly exchanged sexually explicit messages with a minor, including sending a photo of himself wearing only underwear and inviting her to meet him.

One message reportedly sent by the player reads:

“You’re a woman and you’re 16 years old. If anything happens to you, it will be my responsibility. You know that, right?”

The player is also accused of sharing an intimate video involving himself and Gabzuski with a third person without the content creator’s authorization.

The woman appearing in the footage later confirmed that the video was of an intimate nature and stated that she had not authorized the distribution of the content.

Additional Allegations Against TitaN

Another woman has accused the player of sexual abuse in 2024, claiming that during one incident she lost consciousness after consuming alcohol and later woke up to find the player touching her inappropriately.

According to her statement, she was heavily intoxicated at the time and did not consent to any form of physical contact.

She also alleged that the player kissed her during the incident. When questioned about the situation the following day through a messaging app, TitaN reportedly replied:

“You kept lifting your butt and I touched you.”

paiN Gaming Terminates TitaN Contract

Although the first accusations surfaced in January 2026, Brazilian authorities have recently confirmed that police have opened an investigation into the player.

While TitaN had already been removed from paiN Gaming’s active roster when the allegations first emerged, the organization officially terminated his contract on March 10 following the launch of the police investigation.

The case continues to generate intense discussion across the CBLOL community, as fans and organizations await further updates regarding the investigation and potential disciplinary action.
