The Battlegrounds Mobile India scene is set for a historic comeback on the international stage. According to sources, the winner of Battlegrounds Mobile India Pro Series (BMPS) 2025 will secure a direct slot in the PUBG Mobile World Cup (PMWC) 2025, scheduled to take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, starting July 25.

This move marks India's first official international representation since the PUBG Mobile World Invitational 2022: Afterparty Showdown, also held in Riyadh as part of the Gamers8 festival. That event saw 7Sea Esports fly the Indian flag, making BMPS 2025 an anticipated return after a three year absence.
BMPS 2025 Grand Finals are set to conclude on July 6, giving the winning team approximately 20 days to prepare for PMWC, enough time to finalize bootcamp schedules, scrims, and international travel logistics. The team will join 23 other top teams from around the world as a Special Invite, a designation highlighting India’s return to the global PUBG Mobile circuit.
In another major development, KRAFTON is preparing to roll out a Partnership System for BGMI, expected to be introduced following BMPS 2025. Modeled after the PUBG Mobile Super League (PMSL), the system will reportedly grant select organizations long-term slots, financial backing, and deeper integration with KRAFTON's competitive ecosystem.
This two-pronged update not only elevates the stakes of BMPS but also signals KRAFTON’s commitment to building a sustainable and internationally relevant esports structure in India. With direct international qualification and an upcoming franchising-style system, 2025 could mark a new era for BGMI and its competitive future.
